It’s no secret that Dubai draws freelancers from all over the world. We, too, love to work in beautiful places with a cup of aromatic coffee in hand. Our editorial team shared their favorite work spots!
Dubai Pike
Pike is an international fresh urban media with branches in 8 cities. We help our readers to spend money and not get disappointed.

Our editorial team’s go-to coworking spot for all things business and meetings — it’s the place to be. They serve up some seriously good coffee, and there’s space both indoors and outdoors on two floors. Plus, you get free, lightning-fast Wi-Fi.

Mohammed bin Rashid Library
The biggest library in the MENA region, featuring 8 floors filled with knowledge. Here, you’ll find books, meeting rooms (available for paid bookings), a free co-working area, and a nice cafe downstairs with an open piano available for everyone. After work, you can stroll by the harbor; the district is really nice and normally quite deserted.

A private gallery with cool contemporary exhibitions and breathtaking views of the bay. There’s also a small, quiet library with designated areas for comfortable work, also with a view. And for lunch, you can check out a Michelin-starred restaurant, Teible, known for its sustainability efforts.

We honestly believe their coffee deserves a top spot in our Dubai list. It’s a convenient and pleasant place to work from, and in the evening, you can head to Kite Beach to catch the sunset. As for satisfying a hungry stomach, we’d advise against it — unless you decide to curb your appetite with some mouthwatering cinnamon buns.

Aesthetically pleasing coffee shop with exceptional pastries. We adore them for their open kitchen, friendly staff, and incredibly beautiful interior lighting. To all you aesthetes out there, this is a must-visit — for coffee, conversation, and inspiration! Note: It could get crowded during peak seasons.

Villa Margot
A stylish place run by the French. The entire villa exudes a charming European bohemian vibe, with flower-adorned sofas, a mini coffee station (they serve great coffee!), and even a floral boutique and concept store right on the premises. We recommend visiting during the winter to enjoy the lovely veranda.

A cozy cafe and concept store rolled into one, focused on healthy options. It’s homely and inviting, but seating is limited, so there’s a chance you might find a crowd of freelancers on their vegan detox missions. By the way, they have an extensive selection of vegan and vegetarian options!

Looking for a workspace that feels like another planet? Your personal Narnia in a garage in Al Quoz’s industrial zone — it’s the Spanish creative hub, La Nena, with its top-notch coffee shop. They brew simply superb coffee (even Cascara — a tea made from coffee berries!), serve delicious food, welcome dogs, and offer water. However, finding a spot in the middle of the workday might be a challenge — it’s just that fantastic of a place!

A spacious, well-lit, glassy area with a coffee shop and co-working space. This place exudes a corporate vibe, attracting big companies, and it’s no surprise given the financial flow it generates. It’s perfect for business meetings, but it might not be the coziest spot for large, noisy groups.

During the day, it’s a wonderful, quiet place with a massive crystal chandelier in the center — perfect for sipping coffee and getting work done (there are plenty of outlets). However, in the evening, this space undergoes a transformation into a bar, and the bookshelf turns into a DJ booth.

A park in City Walk (yes, right in the city center!) with a massive tree in the middle surrounded by tables. Nearby, there’s the German coffee shop, The Barn (a perfect spot to charge your laptop if needed), and Hapi — an incredible place for homemade ice cream (try the mint, and you’ll fall in love, just like we did!). Our entire editorial team often comes here to write posts and work surrounded by nature.

A café-greenhouse tucked inside a plant store 'The Garden Concept'. It’s cozy, usually almost empty, with Wi-Fi and power outlets. And, let’s be honest, it’s pretty cool to work in a greenhouse, right? Just be warned, there’s a chance you might end up taking home a potted palm after work. The charm of it all!

The go-to spot for all freelancers and remote workers in the hipster hub of Dubai — Alserkal Avenue. The work vibe here is so strong that the local cat reportedly snagged the 'Employee of the Year' title. Oh, and did I mention they are pet-friendly? Bring your paw-pals along! Their coffee shop even made it into the Michelin guide last year!
