It is very beautiful and monumental. At the entrance, there is an honor guard in 12th-century Koi clothing (hereinafter referred to as the Ottoman Beylik). In fact, that's why I visited Bursa.

Inside the Tophane park, 2. It was very nice to visit the tombs of our ancestors Osman and Orhan Veterans located in the park, where the clock tower erected on behalf of Abdulhamit Khan is also located. The ceremony performed by our soldiers attached to the gendarmerie for respect and respect for Osman Gazi was very impressive.

I was in Bursa, and I went to Topkhane Park specifically for this place. And for good reason The founder of the Ottoman Empire, Osman I, and his son Orhan, who continued his work, lie here. Interesting fact: Osman bequeathed to bury himself under a silver dome, and the tomb stands on the site of a former Byzantine monastery, which Osman conquered. That is, the man wanted to rest where he had won. The building itself is not from the 14th century, as it might seem. In 1855, the building was destroyed by an earthquake, and it was restored only in 1863 in the Ottoman Baroque style. Everything inside is quite elegant now, gold, ornaments, but behind this facade there is a history of six centuries. What got me hooked: Orhan Gazi, Osman's son, took Bursa after an eight-year siege after his father's death and made it the first capital of the empire. You stand next to two tombs and realize that you are looking at the very beginning of what then stretched over six centuries and three continents. It's useful to know: admission is free, there is a Topkhane clock tower nearby with a good view of the city, it's better to come in the morning before tourists arrive. And at the same time combine it with a walk through the old quarter of Hisar, it's right here.
