One of the central and well-known tourist attractions in Istanbul, showing the way diplomacy and international relations were happening centuries ago.

The German Fountain in Istanbul is a cultural and historical treasure that embodies the rich history of the city. Here is my review:
Positive:
1. Beauty and architecture: The German fountain, built in 1900, impresses with its exquisite architecture and decorative elements. It is an excellent example of the neoclassical style.
2. Location: The fountain is located in the very center of the historical part of Istanbul, which makes it easily accessible to tourists and travelers.
3. Historical value: The German Fountain has a connection with important events and historical figures, such as Herman II and his visit to Istanbul.
Minuses:
1. Limited opening hours: The fountain may not always be accessible to the public, as its operation is limited to certain hours.
2. Limited opportunities for interaction: Since this is a historical monument, visitors are not always allowed to get close to the fountain.
The general conclusion: The German Fountain in Istanbul is a beautiful and historically important architectural object. It is worth visiting in order to enjoy its beauty and learn more about its historical significance. However, be prepared for the fact that access to the fountain may be limited and it may be closed at some hours.

A beautiful place, a gift from the German Chancellor to the Sultan. There are many meetings near this place. Locals take water, but tourists prefer it from a bottle.

The fountain is a historical monument. It is written about him on the Internet. Should I say that it is very beautiful? No, I won't tell you. Just a historical monument donated by the Germans. I know. I saw it. Everything. A curtain.

The German fountain was donated to the Ottoman Empire by Germany in memory of Kaiser Wilhelm II's second visit to Istanbul in 1898. There used to be a horse racing racetrack on this square, as well as a fountain and obelisks. When we were there, the fountain was no longer working.

The fountain is like a fountain, it's not worth going straight to it, but it's close to all the sights

Presented by William II to the Turkish ruler in honor of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the reign of the Ottoman Sultan, as a sign of friendship of peoples.
There is no water in the fountain, but it looks beautiful.
It is located on the same territory as St. Sophia and the Blue Mosque.
I hardly waited for no one to sit on the steps))

An interesting structure. It is located near the Blue Mosque. Represents the epoch of time. Touching history is always interesting and sensual. You can't go inside, but, in principle, everything is visible and clear.

The fountain, once presented to the Turkish Sultan by Wilhelm II, as a sign of strong friendship and long-term cooperation with Germany, which is true - the German influence is still felt.

I didn't make an impression. Anyone who will be in the historical part of Istanbul will definitely see it and make up their mind. You can consider it in detail from all sides. No one near the fountain is choking.

An interesting fountain. However, it does not work in February. And it even looks very solid. Nearby there is a pyramid with a description of the object in 3 languages. Or the Internet to help.

In our understanding, not quite a fountain. There are water taps on the side. It will go for a C with a minus. It may not be bad for Istanbul
