St. Anne's Church, built in 1537 on the site of a mosque designed by Diego de Siloe, a famous Spanish architect and sculptor of the Renaissance era, whose works include not only this temple, but also the cathedrals of Malaga, Guadalajara in Mexico, Lima and Cusco in Peru.
