The history of the "Church of Zurich" (German: "Zürcher Kirche", Latin: "Turicina ecclesia", which became the Grosmunster. Saints Felix and Regula, as well as their servant Exuperantius, are considered to be the patrons of Grosmunster. The legend of King Charlemagne of the Franks (747 — 814) from the Carolingian dynasty is impressive. His horse fell to his knees at the burial place of the saints, after which the king ordered the construction of the Grand Gunster. The Wasserkirche church was built on the site of the execution of the saints. The original stained glass windows of the Christmas scene were created by the outstanding Swiss artist Antonio Augusto Giacometti (1877-1947). The stories of the Reformation of the Cathedral of Grossmunster and Ulrich Zwingli are closely linked, it was here that Zwingli began to preach.

the case when the exterior is better than the interior. You can admire this building from many points of the city, but preferably from Linden Square.

The first floor is free of charge. The climb to the tower is 5 CHF. From the tower there is a beautiful view of Lake Zurich Fraumunster Church, which is nearby. The Grossmunster Church is reformed, so there are no icons.
