The first impression was worse than reality due to location. But the hotel itself is very good thanks to employees and almost all services are on the high level (cleaning, kitchen, hospitality of reception). Indian food for dinner was delicious!
The only 2 things I didn’t like: windows on swimming pool are very dirty and it reflects on perception; bad organised transfer to the beach (Kite beach without infrastructure, cafe with wifi) and not enough numbers of transfer (difficult to spend 3,5-4 hours at the beach. The only one option of coming back to the hotel)
This is the perfect hotel for business people, not for tourists.

I've never written any reviews before — this is the first one in my life. And now I'm just forcing myself to relive this experience while writing a review, but I want people to know and not repeat this mistake.
Positive:
The only thing I have no complaints about is the daily, high—quality room cleaning (the guys who clean are great, they did everything great) and the cool shower head.
That's where the advantages end.
Cons:
Food.
Every lunch/dinner trip causes regret about choosing this hotel. Waiting for a tasteless meal takes 15 minutes per dish (there are four dishes in total: soup, salad, hot, dessert), which are always served separately in turn, and the whole dinner takes an hour and a half, of which the longest is waiting for the food to arrive. It is important to note that the cost of a day for two people is $ 135 (breakfast + dinner). It's hard to find edible food at breakfast. For dinner, the food is equally tasteless every day, sometimes even inedible, repeated with breakfast. It seems that dinner consists of breakfast leftovers. Moreover, the food here is full of vinegar, lemon, over-salted, or fresh, dry, tasteless. One day I changed dinner for lunch and it turned out that it was the same menu. That is, if I took tomorrow + lunch + dinner, then lunch and dinner would be identical to each other and tasteless.
Every day I have to spend extra money on food delivery, because there are no good restaurants nearby. By the fourth day after eating from the hotel, my gastritis worsened after a long period of remission. If you are a VEGETARIAN, expect deception in the form of the illusion of choice on the menu. Here they write vegetarian soup or chicken soup, which, by the way, was served three days in a row, calling it differently, but the essence remained the same: the soup is the same, cooked in "chicken" broth. Only one has medium—sized pieces of chicken, and the second has small pieces.
Location:
The hotel is located far from any important tourist and leisure locations. to get to them, prepare for the fact that you will always have to spend money on a taxi or rent a car. There is nothing within walking distance, there is nowhere to walk, the nearest metro station is 10 minutes by car. There are no sidewalks, so walking is not an option. Taxi costs are high. The transfer to the sea runs once a day at 9:00. For those who like to sleep, it is terribly inconvenient. It takes 20 minutes by transfer to get to the sea. The transfer returns at 13:00. It's easy to burn out on the beach during this time. Beach bags — usually consisting of towels, water and a blanket — are not provided upon request.
Staff:
There is no customer orientation in this department. Apparently, the staff is only trained on how to spoil the rest and mood of the guests. I always get the answer to any question: no, madam, sorry, it's not possible. Without warning from the hotel (on the website), I was asked to deposit 200 dirhams. The money was taken away, but no check was issued. I will describe the most egregious case at the end of the review. Cosmetic items (slippers, bathrobe, toothbrush) were brought only after being asked twice. And all this is accompanied by a haughty, malicious grin with constant replies: no madam, it's not possible.
Room:
It is impossible to sleep/ fall asleep: bright light is constantly shining into the eyes through the cracks in the curtains and from the appliances in the room. It was very cold for a couple of days. We asked for help to turn on the air conditioner for heat (heating is indicated on the website), after which they laughed at us and said that this was impossible, because we were in Dubai, and it was never cold here. Moreover, the "employee" in a warm suit said this. We almost got sick.
The water in the room is just something unimaginable: instead of the usual bottles, they are glass, reusable (almost always dirty). It would seem eco-friendly, and that's good, but! The water in them is poured from the tap, at best by running through a filter. And the last few days were completely different: the water was poured simply from the tap; it smelled of bleach and something else (it is suspected that it was from the pool at all, since the water from the shower smelled less). In short, what we washed with, we drank with — there was no difference in the quality of the water at all. That is, you can drink normal water in the tropical desert (which is the Emirates) exclusively at breakfast from cups with a volume of 100/125 milliliters.
The promised story: one day I felt bad and asked to take dinner (which is fixed, it's not a buffet) with me to my room. Since eating in the "dining room" was a torment for me. Tasteless food always took a very long time to arrive. When I made this request to the reception and told about my well-being, I received the standard response, as always: sorry, madam, it's not possible. After that, I was humiliatingly watched throughout dinner for how I eat. By the way, it's their specialty to carry food for a very long time, so we rarely saw desserts, because we didn't have the patience to wait an hour and a half for it to arrive. I also once bought a coffee for 17 dirhams, and I was very surprised that for such money my Americano was diluted 1:5 with water, my friend's cappuccino was also water.

The hotel is like a hotel, nothing outstanding, I won't come back here again, the staff is not Russian-speaking, the food is not very good at all, the menu for a fee is also not very good. The room is always very cold, even when the air conditioner is turned off.

Of course, this is an urban type of hotel. And what do many people want when they plan their vacation 10 minutes from the center?)))) The interior is modern, the staff is very cool. The breakfasts were excellent, and fruits, and vegetables, and vegetarian, and several types of cheeses, sausages. In general, the choice is amazing. You always leave the table full. The pool in May was really on renovation, but I was happy to go to a nearby hotel, which is located 50 meters from the Urban. The transfer to the beach was every day. At 9.00 the bus was always waiting for tourists near the main entrance. Cleanliness is also on the level. Cleaning every day, shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, several towels.
2 types of coffee, 2 types of sugar, tea in assortment, several bottles of water, napkins - everything is for you at your first request. What are those who book a 3-star hotel dissatisfied with? What else do you want to see?
The view from the main entrance is gorgeous. The Buj Khalifa is visible both in the afternoon and in the evening. Taxi is not a problem 24/7. Near supermarket, pharmacy, spa salon. I was satisfied. 3 weeks flew by like one day. They also saw off smartly. Always help, always with a smile, always at a good level

It's all good. Great room, good breakfasts. A great compliment to my wife's doctor! The best I've ever met. The only issue was with the water in the shower, they couldn't adjust it to warm in any way. And by location, you know, to the metro by bus, as well as to the sea.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and 6 days.
We had half board (breakfast and dinner included), the food is very tasty. I liked the whole hotel very much. Except for the shower stall in the room, which was constantly leaking. This was told to the administrator on the second day of arrival (who said that the master would remove the damage) . In the future, the problem was not fixed((( There is a recreation area on the roof with several pools, a Jacuzzi and sun beds))) A wonderful gym.
There is also a transfer to the sea departure from 9:00 to 12:30. On the fourth day of arrival, the driver was 30 minutes late, despite the fact that when we arrived at the beach, he did not compensate us for the time of delay, and also said that the departure would be at 12:30 (he was very lucky that I don't know English well) and he was again 30 minutes late picking us up from the beach. The bus driver picked up people from our hotel and from the hotel next door, there are more and more people, it is FORBIDDEN to go standing. On the 6th day, we learned from the hotel administrator that it was necessary to sign up for a transfer to the sea in the evening and only those who signed up can go, very irresponsible on their part. When resting in this hotel, count on the urban type of rest, there is no transfer, everything is on your own, the location is far from everything. Led by the beautiful view from the pool, which at that moment was closed for repairs (about which there were no warnings), they gave an alternative to go to the neighboring hotel of their network, yes, not bad, but then we would have shot three stars at once or not at all. Cleaning the rooms every day, but for 3, dirt is not particularly visible because the hotel is still new, not killed. The overall impression of Dubai is gorgeous of course, the sea is just a delight, even though it was not the season.

Cheated with breakfast, when extending the reservation stupidly removed it without warning naturally. The rooms were not cleaned. The location is not convenient if you are not ready to rent a car or travel by taxi.
