I can't say that the fort is amazing and makes an indelible impression. However, I walked a lot of steps to it and back, because on my first visit it was closed right in front of my indignant nose under the pretext of rain and bad weather. The watchman just hung up the lock, got on his bike and drove off, whistling a simple melody. It wasn't raining, of course. I already made the second visit on a sunny day and realized that everything was generally clear from the outside. But since Fujairah is not full of places for leisure and entertainment, it can be considered as a visit to the attraction. Fortunately, it's free. From inside the fort itself, the view doesn't really open anywhere. A couple of windows in different towers and a small ledge overlooking a small cemetery. As they say, we see the pluses in the crosses in the cemetery and take a photo as a keepsake. And we also look into an empty village next to the fort. A more interesting view of the city opens from the entrance wall by the road, which can be reached by stairs. And next to the fort there is an EVA cafe, where delicious sandwiches (rolls) with fresh falafel, chicken and torn beef are prepared. It's damn delicious and cheap.

Fort of the 16th century. We walked from the beach. It looks very pretty at sunset, as it is located on a small hill, offering beautiful views of the city. It is interesting for children to climb the multi-level steps and narrow passages.

It's a great place! Parking is right in front of the fort. Admission is free. A large area with various buildings. A must-visit!
