Grate place but it’s hard to be at the open air with kids when it’s 36-38’ . Even with all the cooling systems and air-conditioned surrounding transport, children still have a hard time staying there for more than 2-3 hours. It's a pity that the zoo closes at 18:00-18:30. It would be possible to arrive at 16:00, when the temperature drops, and stay in the park until 18:20. I don't know if this is possible. Logistically, from the point of view of the animals' biorhythms.

We went there to show the child the animals that live on our planet. It was very interesting for adults too. A huge area. A wide variety of species. It was especially cool to ride an armored car through the valliers themselves and look at the animals right next to them, you could reach them with your hand. And you can also feed the giraffes at a certain time, how many emotions the child had) The only thing is if you walk, then you're in the open sun all the time, without a headdress it can get bad.
Lots of souvenirs and pebbles, you can sit down to rest and refresh yourself and buy something to remember you by. We took the cheapest ice cream in cups with mango and strawberry flavors, a completely different taste, it's incomparably simple with ours. Sooooo delicious.

It's a very large area, everything is quite beautifully decorated, there are cool fans with water in all places.
The territory is divided into several zones.
We went from the operator, with safari enabled. We were told that it would be an armored bus ride among wild animals that would sometimes even approach the bus and attack.
As a result, out of about 20 zones, the only ones that were interesting were baboons and cheetahs.
Cheetahs blocked the way and walked close to the bus, there were just a lot of baboons. The rest of the predators and large animals were 2-3 in number, sometimes 4-5 in a state of complete unconsciousness. They were just sleeping in the shade. And in most cases they were tightly isolated from the road by an electric shepherd.
There were a lot of mostly herbivores who also didn't care.
The next big area is the African Village. It's pretty good, but the animals are also sleeping, some of the enclosures are empty, and the gorilla is hiding. We were pleased with 3 elephants.
By the way, feeding giraffes after 12 is already scheduled for the end of the day.
On the territory of the zoo itself, prices are nuclear, surprisingly more or less acceptable in indoor restaurants. But still, the overprice is ubiquitous.
Of course, it is the great merit of architects, builders, and staff to create such beauty in the middle of the desert. But that's not why we're going. In general, it is mandatory to visit with children, but it is better not to overestimate expectations.
Well, perhaps a lot of things were blocked by visiting the safari park in Guangzhou (China). There's something incredible there, just like in the guide's story from the operator about the Dubai Zoo, but the truth. In general, be prepared.

The zoo is cool. A huge territory, all enclosures are clean and well maintained. The water of the hippopotamus is blue, not brown like in Moscow. I definitely advise you to take a full ticket for 75 dirhams (45 for children). It includes animal feeding and a safari tour (a 40-minute bus ride among animals, including tigers and lions). An ordinary adult costs 50 dirhams. The zoo is divided into 4 locations: Africa, Asia, safari tour + giraffes, a petting zoo. A free steam train runs between the zones. We were brought in at 12 and we left for closure. The zoo closes at 6, and the safari tour and animal feeding no longer work at 5. The food on site is expensive: pizza Margarita 50 dirhams, lemonade 30 dirhams, ice cream 35 dirhams. The toilets are very clean and tidy. There are theaters where performances with animals are held on time. There are pavilions with birds where parrots sit on people))

It's a very cool place. It will be interesting and fun for everyone here, both families with children and just adults. If you go here by bus, it takes a very long time. The most optimal way among the economical ones is to go to the final metro station along the red line, and from there by taxi (about 15-20 minutes and 25-30 dirhams). We took the maximum tickets in advance, moved between the zones by buses. Tickets for feeding the giraffe can only be purchased inside the zoo itself. Everything has been done here for a comfortable stay - a lot of shade, areas with petitioners where you can refresh yourself well. I really liked the African safari.

The park is divided into several thematic zones. 1. They take you by bus. and then the walking tour begins, you will see: Lions, elephant, hippo, monkeys, gorilla, hyenas, flamingos, black swan, etc. Aviaries are more like a natural environment . The observation points are equipped with fans with water spray. There are also air-conditioned rooms for observation and relaxation. 2. Here is a bus tour of the habitats (be sure to buy the right tickets!) lions, tigers, rhinoceroses, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, monkeys, crocodiles, etc. Wow!!! Excursion to the eng. But everything is intuitively clear . The children are delighted. We also. do you remember the movie 'Jurassic Park', well, this trip reminded me about it, you are on the bus, the big door opens, the car pulls in, stops until the door closes and goes on, plus electric wires along the top)). Atmospheric !
Zone 3. Walking and partly on an open car among the habitats of herbivores. At 4 (it's like a petting zoo) and the performance, the children didn't have enough strength and we left.
Taxi from Marina Dubai at 100 dirhams one way . that's 2700 somewhere.
Tickets are out at 7500 or something. But, again, it's worth it!!! It is better to save money and not go to the Dubai Mall aquarium tunnel , but get here. The guide offered a much more expensive price! We refused! We bought the tickets ourselves , paid with a Kazakh visa card ( we took it from friends ) .
I read reviews that Moscow is not worse, but no, it does not compare in any way!

It's a great park, you don't have to take a train ticket, it was easy enough for us to walk around the entire territory with children and a stroller. But I definitely advise you to take a safari. The 35-minute tour is simply gorgeous, but starting at lunchtime, the queues are huge, be prepared to stand for an hour or two, or immediately take a queue upon arrival. There are many cafes on site, and union pay is available everywhere.

The zoo is big, there is a lot of greenery. Both adults and children liked it. The animals are well represented, according to the types of continents, there are birds, but it is difficult to see them. There are 4 large zones. Water is sprayed everywhere in small drops from the heat, but it still gets on the camera lens.
We need to go to safari buses right away, otherwise there will be a very long queue moving slowly. We waited 40 minutes.

It's a great place. We were with two children (11 and 16). Everyone is delighted. Everything has been done for both animals and people. Sunshades with water sprayers. In the sun, you can safely walk around the park. Buses with air conditioning for visitors, animals in natural conditions, all beautiful, well-groomed. It is intuitively clear where to go next. A huge beautiful territory, you can walk for a very long time. Geographically far away - either by taxi, which is expensive, or through an excursion.
We had very comfortable conditions for walking in winter, we were very tired in 5 hours.
Advantages: a very beautiful territory, a variety of animals, beautiful landscapes, a separate children's area (immediately at the entrance to the left), a steam train for transporting visitors, animal habitat conditions are as close as possible to natural ones.
Cons: the tour in English: fast and not everything is clear; of the food, as usual, only fast food - we escaped in the Indian village with pilaf (it was not spicy, it was suitable for a child); safari with wild animals was a little disappointing: you are traveling in a completely closed glass bus that moves along a certain route and you have to wait a long time for the iron gates to open and close, the children get bored, because there are a lot of such stops. But the safety is at a height.

It's a good park, and it will take all day to fully explore all the territories. It will take about 2 hours just to walk among the valliers with animals. I advise you to visit the territory with birds, they are in a separate covered area and move freely along the paths among people. The park is equipped with food trucks and cafes. Fans with water spray were also invented from the heat. I recommend you to visit.

The children are delighted! Then they did not immediately figure out that it was necessary to travel between the zones by tram, they went on foot and almost boiled! Then we went back to the start and figured it out. It's cool that you only need to walk inside the zones, and electric cars run between them. I liked the feeding of the giraffe, it is on time, food for a separate price. I liked the safari, but not everyone understood, the English language is very fast with the guide) but it's beautiful, and they guessed the meaning. There are many previously unknown animals. Cool areas with fans and steam. On the way back, we returned to the parrots - they were already well-fed and did not go to people. We took snacks, prices are like everywhere else, there are a lot of recreation areas. The zoo is closing for the summer, we were in April 24th. I recommend it!

I am very glad that the park staff are doing everything to make it easier for you to endure the heat during the tour)) near each aviary there are canopies on which fans with humidifiers are installed. Each location (village) can be reached by air-conditioned train. But the most amazing thing is the safari bus. Where you get on a bus and it goes into every aviary with animals, at which, it can also go by water where there are water locations. In general, it's great!

The zoo is beyond praise. We have already visited 2 times. If we go to Dubai again, we will definitely visit.
But the prices in the cafe are quiet horror, 1 ice cream is 40 dirhams more expensive than a children's ticket to the zoo.
It's a shame that they made feeding the giraffe paid, 20 dirhams per person. Last year, we paid 5 or 10 dirhams for a treat.
It is very clean and beautiful. It's a great bird show.

A wonderful place to relax for the whole family! A large collection of animals and birds, very interesting shows (I especially liked the feeding of wild birds). An interesting safari experience in a comfortable minibus with air conditioning for 40 minutes and a 10-minute safari in an open trailer. Courteous staff, easy navigation and movement around the territory by bus. The safari park is located remotely, but it is definitely worth a visit!!!

All animals are well-groomed and healthy. Feeding of giraffes takes place at a certain time.

A great place to relax with the whole family, don't be lazy, be sure to go! It does not compare with ordinary zoos. You need to set aside a whole day for a visit! You will see huge turtles, hippos, rhinoceroses, you can feed giraffes and take pictures with them, exotic birds are in the aviary, parrots will be at arm's length from you, and not behind bars somewhere there... Take a safari tour, it's about half an hour, but you'll have to stand in line at least. A guided bus will take you through the territories where lions, tigers, roe deer walk freely, monkeys jump. Of course, they are not all together, but divided into sections, but the impressions are still amazing, especially after half a day has passed through the park, and then you will also get a ride. There are some shows and you can see animal feedings, but we didn't have time for them. I would love to go back there even once.
The food on site is so-so, fast food, you can take a snack with you.

We were with our family in mid-November 2024. For an adult, a ticket to the pedestrian park costs 50 AED without moving on an air-conditioned train, but at the same time we were given a free ride on an open electric car instead of a train. Why buy for 75 AED with a train is unclear. And plus 50 AED safari bus with glasses, show lions, tigers and buffaloes. We were there from 12 p.m. until closing time (6 p.m.). All the animals hid in the heat, half were only visible. There are not enough animals. Compared to the Moscow zoo, it is less saturated, but the animals are more at ease. It's a lot to walk, you have to lay the whole day. We got to a couple of free shows - (the schedule is posted there). They were both about birds, they flew on stage and flew away. In general, there is no wow effect from the zoo. The pedestrian zoo is comparable to the Moscow one, and the safari part on the closed bus did not meet expectations - half the time out of the 45 minutes of the tour the bus stands in the locks between the enclosures, and the animals pass quickly, you can not even take a photo. And if the animals are on the other side of the bus, then that's all, it's not fate. Just relax and sit with the air conditioner, maybe...
In the pedestrian part, there is also a mini safari on an open electric car for free at the very beginning, they carry 15 minutes without locks between all kinds of antelopes - and it seemed more interesting.
There is a nice pavilion with birds in the part of the African Village Zoo. You can walk among peacocks and parrots.
You can't feed the animals anywhere. Even in the children's zoo.
It's a long drive to the zoo from the city center.
In general, if you have a whole day of vacation that you don't have anything to spend, then you can go. If you are waiting for a wow safari, then alas, they will take you past the lion and tiger quickly and that's it.

I really liked it! Everything is beautifully decorated, lots of greenery, shuttles run conveniently around the territory, we drove more because of the opportunity to feed the giraffe, a sweet sight and so pleasant!!!
We got there by metro, from the metro by bus, but the bus takes quite a long time to go around the route of residential areas, keep in mind.
I really liked the safari too!

A super place. We spent the whole day with great pleasure. A large area for independent walks and two safaris, one small for everyone, just ride on an open car for 10-15 minutes, the second on a separate ticket, there they take a bus with an English-speaking employee through huge open enclosures with various wild animals for 30 minutes. I highly recommend going on this safari at the beginning of the day, because by the evening there are long queues and you will only have to stand for more than an hour.
