It's just an antediluvian college of the early 00s, where about 20 thousand students study, and this is the only "uniqueness" of this mountain university. The worst mistake of my life. They, like everything else national in Kazakhstan, just need a fake world ranking (which means nothing but a show-off)
The Faculty of Information Technology is just terrible, the staff has no connection with each other, and everyone is talking about something different about the same thing. You run in different directions, which just redirect you somewhere else, and all this should be done in 1 day, because all the important news reaches you only when there are 1-2 days left. The teachers are just terrible, whether they are bad themselves, or the shortened curriculum is their way. A subject that is studied for at least 2 semesters, they try to rub in 1 semester. Mandatory community service, in case of non-appearance of which you have to report to the dean's office, filled with unbalanced people who are shouting incomprehensibly.
As one example, I had a fight with a teacher of one subject, and he safely left me for the summer semester, and this is fair in the eyes of the university, but that's not all. I paid for the summer semester, signed the application, and sent it. But they want me to personally come to the dean's office and hand them over on a silver plate, like this, before June 2, in 1 day to hand these scum, otherwise I will not transfer to the 2nd year, and I am in another city

I study at this university! The university is not bad, I think it is the largest university in our country.As in all Universities, there are pros and cons.The advantages are the library, the publishers(not all), location, a clean cozy place (for example, to sit with coffee, reading a book), a beautiful place for cool photos, etc.Cons canteens are not a reasonable price for the quality of dishes (for the same amount you can eat complexes), toilets (not comfortable, they stink occasionally, there is no soap to wash your hands)

P.S. you will not see any active university life there, only mambets and mongrel professors. They work only on quantity, not on quality!
