A wonderful beautiful place, views of the city and the sea, an excellent photo area. It can be windy at the top, and even cool in the evening, despite the fact that it is hot during the day. Since it is very high to climb the stairs, it is better to use a funicular tram. The most beautiful views are at sunrise and sunset, but if you decide to take the funicular in the evening, it is better to do it a little earlier, because there is a rather long queue for the last flights.

A great place to visit. You can get there by funicular, so as not to drag yourself along the road going up. There seems to be a subway nearby, but we didn't go. This is a whole complex with gardens, Shahid Alley and several panoramic platforms where you can look at Baku and the Seaside promenade. We were there during the day, but it seems to me that the view will be especially beautiful in the evening! In general, I recommend it. I am attaching several photos for understanding.

An unusual place that combines the memory of the heroes of the nation and an area with stunning views of the city. There are always queues for the funicular, but it is quite possible to climb slowly on foot.

One of the significant objects of the city is the Nagorny Park. The most ideal point from which you can see the city at a glance . A great place for a photo. The most convenient way to get up from the Carpet Museum is by funicular. Nearby are the Fire Towers, the Alley of the Shahids, the Eternal Flame, the Turkish Mosque.

It is worth going up to the observation deck in the park and admire and take some great camera angles. Walking is pleasant and interesting. You can go down the steps, and climb on the funicular, which costs 1 manat per ascent or descent in one direction per person. There are a lot of greenery and benches in the park. There is a toilet right next to the upper station of the funicular. Recommend.

I would walk every day. Unnoticed, enjoying the beauty, you can walk 10 km, photographing architecture, fountains, flora. An incredible aesthetic pleasure. And the climate is very suitable, even in November +10-15 🫶🏼

The whole city is in the palm of your hand. The Highland Park, which is the highest point of Baku, offers a wonderful panorama of the city and the bay.
You can get here either by funicular in 7-8 minutes, or by climbing endless stone stairs. The park with its terraces, stunning greenery, and an observation deck offering an incredible panorama of the city and the Baku bay was created by the hands of the brilliant architect Lev Ilyin.
At dusk, the lights turn on in the park, and it is completely transformed. The world around us and people coming down the lighted stairs take on some fantastic shapes.

Landscape design plays well with the height difference, landscaping of the slope continues to this day. On the observation deck, the whole city is at a glance. The only bad thing is that mainly non-native plant species are used in landscaping.

The park fascinates with its cleanliness, thoughtful layout and attention to minor details. Whoever decided to visit Baku should definitely visit it. By the way, all of the above applies to the city of Baku itself, which has become extraordinarily prettier lately. Moreover, Baku is one of the five safest cities in the world.

A very iconic place!!! In reality, this is the alley of the honorable burial. It's worth a visit, from the observation decks, and there are two of them, there is a fantastic view of the whole city and the bay. Then, by funicular, you can immediately get to the coast, namely to the boulevard

Nagorny Park (in the early twentieth century – English, from 1939 until the collapse of the USSR – named after Sergei Kirov) is the highest point of Baku. Most tourists come here by funicular or climb a multi-stage ladder. And for us, staying at the Fairmont Hotel in one of the glass-mirrored Flame Towers skyscrapers, it was easier, easier and more convenient to get to this park – just cross the road. Therefore, unlike the rest of the visitors, we were cheerful on the evening excursion and ready to impress with fresh forces in full. And there are plenty of reasons for enthusiastic gasps here: these are stunning panoramic views of the city and the bay from the observation deck, and the contrasting neighborhood of the old mosque with ultramodern Flame towers, and the waterfall complex, and a riot of greenery, and floral aromas, and a beautiful staircase that we descended with pleasure, heading to the Old City for dinner at the Caravanserai... A nice place for a "superficial" (that is, from above) acquaintance with the capital
