建议两个及以上的人一起用餐，因为份量有点大，对一个人来说吃完两三个菜有点困难，但是可以打包。

I enjoyed the place. Tasty food. Reasonably good service. Cozy atmosphere. I had lagman and pilaf. Also wanted samsa, but the waiter warned me that it would take an hour to cook. Didn't wait. There is no internet in the restaurant. And add 10% to menu prices for service.

Great cousin, accommodating and knowledgeable staff. Shashluk was great, bread and salads were fresh. If you are in Astana, make a point to have dinner here.

After the New Year holidays, we reached the Saksaul restaurant of national cuisine in Astana. Very pleasant atmosphere, cozy at home. The staff was very friendly, and when the room was fully seated, the dishes were served quickly and everything was at the right temperature. One small disadvantage, well, to be honest, we missed it ourselves. First we ordered one dish, then we changed our minds and ordered another, and when the waiter reread our order, we somehow flew away in anticipation of delicious food ;)) They didn't notice the catch. Well, to be honest, we didn't regret it, since such meat belongs in the stomach. Very tasty. We ordered the soup "Horse meat Nyryn" 3880t, "Cheese" Lamb in cream 5990t, Shish kebab from young lamb" 4280t. The price is as of 02.01.2025. We advise you to take a look and not skimp and taste the dishes of National Kazakh cuisine.

Favorite restaurant in Astana! Conveniently located in the residential complex "Northern Lights" in the very center. Love from the first meeting in 2022 to the present day. The recipe has not changed for years, you get delicious local cuisine from the chef. We especially like meat dishes - bishbarmak, kebab, manti, but the fish menu is also excellent. Foreigners often dine in the restaurant in the evening, negotiations take place. The atmosphere of comfort and at the same time a stylish interior, greenery. The waiters are wonderful, they will always tell you and joke🤗 Saying goodbye to Astana, we ate breakfast, we also really liked the breakfast from the chef. This is the first time in Astana and we immediately got to such a nice, colorful place. Beshbarmak, pike perch, salads, tea 10 out of 10. The staff is friendly and attentive. Our waiter, Beybarys, was beyond praise, fed us, told us about national dishes, and yes, took pictures of us in national clothes. In general, the best impression of the restaurant.

We had dinner with friends. I liked all the dishes ordered! We wanted to try the national cuisine, we didn't regret it. The kitchen is super, the waiters guys are real pros, everyone would like such. And special thanks to the restaurant manager for the warm welcome and atmosphere.

I really liked it, if you are in Astana, I recommend you to visit. Delicious, and with a national flavor, I liked the Cheese dish from young lamb most of all, and also the Saxaul salad. In general, it is beyond praise. The restaurant itself is in the city center. Despite the surrounding construction site, the territory is fenced and creates the effect of a separate cozy oasis. The premises of this restaurant left an indelible impression on me, in a good sense of the word.
I went on the recommendation of local acquaintances, like to a restaurant where the best beshbarmak is prepared in the city. But besides the pleasure of eating (among other things, horsemeat soup was served to my beshbarmak - and this is a separate topic for conversation), I enjoyed the service. Oriental hospitality with a capital letter! I am sure that every guest of this institution felt the same feeling.

We came to Kazakhstan from Belarus. If we talk about some special impression received in Astana, it was the Kazakh cuisine. Peculiar and non-standard for us (considering the type of meat dishes) nevertheless, it turned out to be really tasty. The restaurant "Saksaul" certainly contributed to the creation of this positive impression.
This institution, which I picked up before the trip, confirmed all the positive reviews and met all the expectations. A place where you are called exclusively "dear guests" encourages you to really feel like one. Here you will be surrounded with genuine care and attention, delicious and satisfying food, and a great desire to return.

The best restaurant with national cuisine in the city, of which, by the way, there are not so many here. Our waiter Sultan is on top: friendly, open, sociable, Oriental with dignity, treated us and told us about the food and the restaurant to our delight.
The food is excellent – of course we tried Besbarmak, 4 different types of meat, horse meat soup, and much more. The manager (I don't know the name) and the Sultan came out to see us off after dinner, which is very pleasant and it actually speaks of real hospitality.

We had lunch at this restaurant for two days in a row, we really liked everything! The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, stylish interior, comfortable spacious seating, calm music playing in the background. Very tasty national dishes, I recommend pilaf, beshbarmak and horse meat dolma, a very tasty dessert cake with shubat mousse. This is probably the best Kazakh cuisine restaurant in Astana. Dishes of meat, dough, entrails, delicacies of Nomadic steppe cuisine are present on the menu here. Well-trained staff and attentive management provide excellent service. Salads and snacks are a separate culinary story, which is enriched by good teas and milk drinks of the nomads (they happen seasonally). The alcohol list is not rich, but people come here to eat. I do not advise you to take Arba wines. The meat here is delicious and cooked with love.
