I don't know how, but the fountain in the Olympic Park in Sochi made me more impressed.

The scale of this fountain is equivalent to the scale of key Dubai buildings.
It's a sight worth taking a look at at least once.
Videos will not convey the whole atmosphere of what is happening, unlike when you watch this "fountain performance" live.

There are nice cafes nearby, you can wait for fountains. There are a lot of people, but the place is quite enough to see the fountains.
These are the best singing fountains, Barcelona was not even close.

Was there. Swimming is not very good. The bottom is very slippery and nasty, the water is cold, there is no place to enter the water as such, you can only climb over the fence. Every half hour there is some kind of jet coming from under the water (cleaning the pool as I understand it). From the positive, we can only note that the pool is very large, literally huge. It is also located in a beautiful location near skyscrapers and Dubai Mall. After bathing, you can go shopping (quite convenient). From the negative, I want to note that when bathing, the guards and maintenance staff yell a lot and try to interfere with swimming (then I just went under the water and they fell behind).
