I've heard a lot of laudatory reviews about this center, so I decided to ask for help too. The child is 1.5 years old, does not speak. The request was to launch speech.
At the first lesson, there was no diagnosis as such, they asked about pregnancy, childbirth, and that was it. When I asked, "What problems do you see with the child, what to do," the answer was, "Well, yes, she doesn't say." but I don't really understand what should be happening at all, this is the first time I've encountered speech therapists and such a problem in general. Well, I think it's OK, maybe that's the way it should be. We started going to classes, and I was always present at the class (3-4 classes were held). The lesson lasts 30 minutes, the child is small. In the office, all the toys are on open shelves at the height of the child - the baby was constantly distracted by these toys, which is generally not surprising. but it's just that class time goes by, and the specialist doesn't do anything because the child plays whatever he wants, freaks out when I take the toys. well, OK - within 5-10 minutes, the lesson somehow started. but what I see is that the specialist takes different objects and just calls them, yes clearly and loudly, but just calls them and waits for the child to repeat. but she doesn't repeat herself, and perhaps that's the crux of the problem. So I've been doing it at home every day for a long time, but it's no use. and practically nothing happens in one session. in general, I looked at it all over the course of several classes and was completely disappointed in this center. perhaps with other problems in this center they will help, but in our case it was a waste of money, time and nerves (mine).
