Green landscaping, tasty and fresh food, friendly staff. Pool is shallow even the big one is at most 1m deep. Sea is clean in the morning.

There were 2+2 family hotels in this hotel, they were well received, placed in a nice room with a veranda and sea view, spacious, children were additionally provided with a folding sofa. The service and staff are great at all stages, friendly and always responsive, always quick to help with everything. The hotel is new and clean, the lobby decoration, corridors and rooms are designer, everything is beautiful. I will separately praise the beach, very clean and hollow sandy entrance, the sand is clean without pebbles and shells. The water is already a little cool at this time of year, but excellent, super bathed, fresh after the beach). The hotel is not rich in pools, but the pool at the bar is also good, the water is excellent heated constantly. From the pool side, the approach to the bar and the underwater chairs are well thought out, you can enjoy drinks without leaving). The staff at the pool and at the beach are courteous, bringing towels and making themselves on the sun beds where you want, bring water in ice cases) The food is good, buffet-style, the choice is not great, but everything is delicious. There are 2 more restaurants like ala carte by reservation, but we did not go there, we had enough of the main one. In general, there are no disadvantages for us, the only thing is no entertainment in the evenings, a purely quiet hotel for a beach and quiet holiday. There are water activities on the beach, there are many of them, of course for an additional fee.payment. The territory of the hotel is not very big for a walk. You can take a ride on buggy hotels. You can have as many rides as you want. The staff does not refuse guests if you want to take a ride around the hotel. Somehow, I hope my review will help someone in choosing this hotel)

A good idea, a good hotel idea, especially the villas on the water, like in the Maldives, were bribed. But on closer inspection, everything is wrong and everything is wrong. Let's take a closer look
Reception
It's very cold, it's unclear why. The staff is friendly, there are no queues, quick check-in and a welcome drink with napkins. Everything is OK.
Rooms
We took a room next to the pool because of the children and did not lose. Because initially we considered the same villa as in the Maldives, but in the end it turned out that the villa in the Maldives looks like this only from the outside, but in fact these houses are really similar, but they stand in one big puddle and there is certainly nothing like the Maldives here. The puddle stinks and it's impossible to swim in it - it's just some kind of swamp.
The rooms next to the pool are quite good. It is better to take it on the ground floor with access directly to the pool, then there will be a chance to swim and enjoy the water at least a little.
Swimming pool.
The pool is lined with blue mosaics, with partially fallen off elements digging into the legs, which suggests the age of the hotel, although it is relatively new. In principle, the pool is poorly maintained - although the entrance is smooth (which is convenient for children), it is slippery, covered with some kind of film.
Breakfast.
It is normal when compared with average five-star hotels. But not really after the hotel with the prefix de luxe. I don't know what level Anantara claims to be here. Avocado toast seems to be there, but the egg Benedict is boiled almost hard on top, the choice of fruits is weak, there are no berries at all. Tasteless unripe tomatoes, three lettuce leaves…
Sea.
There is a lagoon here- that is, a part of the sea, fenced off by artificial fortifications made of stones. Swimming is unpleasant - the water is stagnant, dirty, at the entrance you drown in swamp-like sands. The water is slightly cooler than in Dubai at this time of year (end of July). For 2 days I haven't seen a single person who would like to swim, my whole life goes around the pool.
Around the hotel.
The area where Anantara is located is new and reserved for villas, restaurants, and other new hotels. It's quite beautiful and green, but it didn't work out because of the heat. The hotel is 20 minutes away from the center. You can go there once, but there's not much to see there.

We were in July, it's very hot, but the pool is cool, it's good there. The breakfasts are very good, a large selection, a cozy restaurant. The rooms are comfortable, a large bathroom and a loggia! The beds and pillows are very comfortable!

A good hotel, a very beautiful place, unique fauna (flamingos, ibises, great and small herons, etc.). There were not very many people, the main restaurant was very good. There is enough tea, coffee, and water in the room. The only negative was not very regular room cleaning.

A good hotel, in a unique place (in terms of nature). The hotel is new and everything is fresh - it's good. Everyone at the reception is super friendly. UnionPay is accepted for tax payment, which is good :)
Further downside, since the hotel positions itself as a luxury, I compare it with Caesar Palace Dubai.
1) Food: very poor choice - everything is standard. There is a lot of Indian food on the evening buffet. Breakfast is only a buffet, the second day here and I have not seen any updates in the breakfast yet.
There are two a la carte restaurants: Asian and Mediterranean. According to the first: the choice of dishes is very poor. Three positions throughout. Of the drinks, only water, coffee and tea are available for an additional fee in HB food packages.
2) Cleaning: while limping, I have to remind you about everything. On the first day, they forgot to clean up when they were on the beach. Then he asked me to clean up during dinner. We did not check for liquid soap and shampoo. They ran out, they were brought only the next day.
3) Swimming areas: the pool is not for adults. He's knee-deep everywhere, so there's a solid paddling pool with kids. Which is strange, if there is a bar in the pool. Apparently so that no one drowns :)
Sea: there are two beaches, one for everyone, the other for those in the villas. The latter have access to the open sea. The beach is fenced by a breakwater for 90% for everyone. In the morning, the tide is out before lunch, you can stand up to the breakwater. There is a lot of silt near the shore, it is unpleasant to enter. At lunchtime, the tide starts to rise and it's better to set, but the sun is treacherous.
It seems to be better for villa owners on the beach, but those who live in villas can actually get there.
4) The public: I am ashamed of our compatriots. There are a lot of people who are questionable in their upbringing: they shout in restaurants, try food without leaving the cash register. I think it will be like this for the first year, while prices are low, then the price list will filter.
Among the advantages, we can once again note the excellent territory and the presence of a pedestrian road to the Min Al Arab area, which allows you to walk 6 km in the evening to the embankment of the local Marina, where there are many points, including Starbucks. The territory itself is actively being built up (the construction of the residential complex is not heard), which indicates that active investments are being made in the place.
As a summary: the hotel is probably more for people with children, and with small ones. So far, the service does not reach luxury, although there are rudiments in the form of large rooms here.

The owners are well done, they invested in full, a large territory, everything is green, high-quality furniture, dishes, cosmetics, linen.... But a very big minus is the staff, who, trying very hard, only makes it worse. An experienced hotelier and restaurateur manager is needed. When the hotel was fully loaded, the service choked. There is also the sea, something needs to be done with the water, breakwaters have been installed and they interfere with circulation, the lagoon is swamped.
