The greatest Christian shrine! The holy place where our Savior was born. A place of special grace with the strongest energy. A place where every Christian should visit whenever possible.

Beit Lehem, בֵּית ל ל or "house of bread" - this is actually the Hebrew translation of the name of the city of Bethlehem, the capital of the historical region of Judea.
Many turtle doves fly near the Church of the Nativity of Christ, here is a calm and beautiful biblical corner. On the walls there are images of the Mother of God as she was represented in different countries of the world, sometimes completely unusual.
Outside the gates, the life of Palestine is in full swing, but inside there is silence, peace and quiet.

The temple left an indelible impression. You come out of there really inspired.
Beauty, kindness, simplicity, everything is "in the air." The temple exists mainly at the expense of pilgrims. Candles were put on, and notes were served. This is not traded, you can leave a donation. The guide Dina organized everything wonderfully, we were at 6 a.m., got to the morning service, there were few people, calmly went down to the cave where Jesus Christ was born and even received the blessing of the priest.

Truly, this is the most Holy place where our Lord was born! It's hard to explain, it needs to be felt. It is good if you arrive early in the morning, when there are no crowds and you can safely visit there and feel everything, and even better if you prepare in advance and arrive for the morning Liturgy and take communion.
At the entrance to the cave on the right, you will be greeted by the world's only ancient miraculous icon of the smiling Virgin Mary with the Savior, stay with Her longer. God bless you!!!

According to legend, the Savior was born here 2022 years ago. The age of the temple is impressive: above the cave where Christ was born, at the behest of St. Helena, mother of Constantine the Great, this basilica was laid in 327. The temple is huge, 48 Corinthian columns, majestic. It is one of the main temples of the Holy Land.
I really want to believe that people will observe not only the external attributes, but also the spirit of the Christmas holiday.

The Basilica of the Nativity is the birthplace of Christ, a holy monastery that everyone can touch.
