Unfortunately, during the recent airspace disruptions and flight cancellations, our family got stuck in Dubai and had to extend their stay unexpectedly. What was very disappointing was the behavior of the local representative we dealt with. Instead of helping tourists who were already in a stressful situation, the communication was disrespectful and unprofessional. In such circumstances, travelers expect at least basic support or guidance, but unfortunately that was not our experience. I had a rest in January 2026, my hotel guide was Levon, the meeting took place the day after my arrival, he told me everything, offered guided tours without imposition, and was satisfied with everything! The tour to Dubai was conducted by the guide Jack (his abbreviated name), he talked a lot and interestingly, and the route was excellent, everyone saw it. In general, everything is fine, and I also enjoyed the desert tour, jeep safari, I took quad bikes, I am very satisfied. I would like to warn tourists about choosing an operator to purchase excursions! The representative of the Sanatbek company, when selling us an excursion to the Gulf of Oman (boat trip), misled us, assuring us that the journey from our hotel to the border with Oman would take only 20 minutes, then another 10 minutes to the seaport, where we would be transferred to a boat! As a result, it took 3 hours and 45 minutes to get to the ship, tourists from all over the coast were gathered, the bus was packed (44 people), the guide spoke very little Russian! The crew on the boat, we must pay tribute, was very friendly and helpful! The parking in the bay lasted 2.5-3 hours, we were not alone in the bay, the water is very dirty, it smells of diesel fuel, it is not surprising that animals simply do not survive in such conditions, therefore, do not count on the promised meeting with turtles! Swimming is much more pleasant on the beach at the hotel (in any case, much cleaner) than on a boat trip! We were very tired of the road, we were on the road for almost 8 hours!!! If the guide had warned us about the timing of the tour, we definitely would not have gone! Therefore, we consider the actions of the guide to be super unprofessional!
