Food is great.
Perhaps one the best places for seafood lovers. Everything is fresh and delicious.
Chairs are uncomfortable, especially terrace chairs which dont even have cushion. For the price their charge, they should certainly arrange comfortable chairs.
Tables are too close to each other. Therefore, this restaurant is not a good place to discuss business over a meal, especially in the evenings.
Given the fact that it is a seafood restaurant in a landlocked country the prices are expensive.
Service is okay but all waiters have a smart ass attitude with zero service mind.

I visited a restaurant in Tashkent, La Mer. It is located on the first line of 43 Shota Rustaveli Street. The restaurant serves Japanese and fish cuisine. Pleasant interior, excellent selection of seafood and fish products, very good range of alcohol! I tried a lot of things, excellent oysters with a good assortment with cool additives, I took black cod for hot, bravo to the cook! It's very tender, juicy, and delicious! I said goodbye to wild rice, and I liked my favorite-grilled asparagus, soft, fresh and well cooked. Special mercy to the staff, very friendly, everyone in their place, we were served by Alexander, a professional in his field! The prices are certainly above average, but you have to pay for the pleasure!😄🤷♀️

The review is composite, the first visit is perfect, the second is very sad. According to the points of the second visit:
1. Half of the menu was not available. In a restaurant that positions itself above the average, this is unacceptable.
2. Friends, if you offer sommelier services, at least teach him the basics. Lack of understanding of regions and autochthonous varieties, ignorance of the assortment and an attempt to pass one variety off as another is such a thing.
3. If a waiter takes a table, he must lead it from beginning to end. Ordering from different waiters leads to confusion (something was done, something was forgotten, etc.).
4. Perhaps many people will disagree, but in my opinion, children do not belong in such establishments.
Total: excellent concept, good menu, good wine list, but the service negates everything. It used to be much better...

I'd like to start by saying that we booked a place a week in advance in the Japanese gym. On March 7, because they didn't even expect to get to March 8.
Upon arrival, we were escorted to a table near the kitchen door and the stairs leading to the bathroom, explaining that the girl who accepted the reservation did not know that the hall was occupied. At the entrance, it was clear that the hall was empty, when I left, I also noticed that it was also empty, although the girl who met us promised to transfer us as soon as there was an empty seat.
Let's move on to the kitchen itself.
It's better not to try lemonades. We tried all the positions, nothing.
The crab salad was good, the salmon sashimi was good, the bread was delicious, and that was the end of the positive experience!
They asked if there was a mushroom risotto, and they said there was. As a result, they brought seafood, after they refused it, they returned saying that Mushroom Risotto was no longer on the menu.
Baked lobster was ordered in batches, the first batch was normal, two more servings were ordered - they were already cooked extremely poorly.
Before today's visit, we had already tried wagyu sushi here, they were very tasty, but as a last resort, firstly, we did not specify when ordering whether they needed to be singed, and secondly, unfortunately, we also screwed up with sushi. I really like to try salmon steak in such establishments, in my subjective opinion, the sauce here is too salty and does not quite go with fish. And finally dessert. Mochi dough is not authentic. The strudel was served with lemon ice cream, I also think that the combination is not the most successful. You could have specified which ice cream to serve the strudel with. To sum up, for an institution of this level, in which the check per person exceeds $ 50 is extremely bad. An inexperienced and unassuming eater may like this place. I booked a table to have dinner and chat online with friends. In the end, I had an empty glass and a bottle of water on the table. Chef Andrey came up to me to tell me that the reservation for the table was in 15 minutes. I tried to catch the waiter for another 5 minutes, because the chef only took care to expel me.
The following guests have already arrived, they were waiting for me to leave))) then I went to look for the waiter myself. C - service.
On the phone and during the whole time, I was never warned about the reservation. Apparently, the chief's friends have arrived.
Dear chef, even if I ordered only water (which is not the case), you have no right to behave like this with guests.

I was poisoned there, I couldn't come to my senses for three days, whether it was fish or alcohol, I don't know, but it was very bad.
It's usually delicious, but the service is always bad. I.e. they are friendly, especially at the entrance, but you have to work with the waiters. They are vain, they forget, they freeze, they have to ask 5 times, at least tea is not included in the bill.
We went in the evening once - an empty restaurant, the time is 7 o'clock. The waiter says we have everything booked, sorry. We called a taxi to another place, while we were waiting, we asked the second waiter - it turned out that half of the tables were booked for 9, while no one offered us to sit for 2 hours.
In general, the place is delicious, the service is poor. Well, I got injured there, a fact.
