It is a wonderful place for both locals and tourists to visit. We had a chance to tour the museum with a fantastic guide - Lusine - and learned a lot about the hard life and creative force of Sargis “Sergei” Parajanov ❤️

It is unique place not only in Armenia but in the whole area. Parajanov was a genius and so his art.
But the staff... OMG, with 0 abilities to organize things, manage all the agreements, the guide was really rude, it wasn't a tour about Parajanov it was tour about herself:how incredible she is, how unique and deep and so on. She was insulting, impolite and rude, I would highly recommend not take a tour with the guide and go there just simply to enjoy everything by yourself. Do not have this bad experience, it's not worth to challenge.

One of the biggest impressions of Yerevan is the Parajanov Museum. We were very lucky with the guide, it was an hour of talking about art, about life, about the difficulty of being a genius. I definitely recommend a guided tour, we managed to book a day-to-day. I didn't know much about Parajanov before the museum, and his amazing world literally captured me - there are so many meanings and metaphors in his works. On the one hand, you return to childhood and spontaneity, and on the other, to the extraordinary depth of perception and experience of the world. After that, I watched a few of his films and read a book I bought at the museum. And by the way, they sell wonderful jewelry in the museum store.

A wonderful museum. A young employee, a historian (a tall man with a beard), told us a lot of interesting things, which made the visit even better. The best souvenir in my life was a ring with a replica of a thaler, bought in a museum store. The courtyard with the tree is wonderful. Thank you to Armenia for this genius and his memory.

A very small museum with a small exposition, but very strikingly representing the image of Sergei Paradzhanov as a very unique and extraordinary person! A man with a unique destiny! When you are in Yerevan, be sure to stop by for a few minutes!

An excellent museum of a great artist. The entrance is 1500 AMD, the guide on the phone is 5000 AMD. A very cozy, slightly "sleepy" house museum filled to the brim with Parajanov's creations. I highly recommend watching a documentary about the director, including his interview, which is shown on the second floor. It is a pity that the museum did not bother to make subtitles in Russian or English in this documentary, since interviews of different people for this film are in their native languages without translation, for example, Pierre Berger's interview in French, etc., and they tell interesting things. But in any case, this is a very informative and interesting museum and its staff do a great job of preserving the heritage and memory of the great man and his sad fate.

I really enjoyed the tour of the museum. The director managed to organize a wonderful team. A rare museum of modern Georgia where inscriptions to the exhibits in Russian have been preserved. Although more than 60% of Russian-speaking visitors go to Georgian museums.

Be sure to visit this important little museum. Even without an excursion, you can touch the facets of creativity and the fate of the Artist and the people who lived and worked next to him, surviving and dying. Humor sits side by side with the drama of our lives, sometimes defeating it. The inspection may take an hour and a half. The ticket price is 1500 AMD, you can take photos at no extra charge.

A great museum! I come every time I visit Yerevan. The museum is included in the List of treasures of European cinema. Everything you need for a visitor is there - a toilet, a wardrobe, storage rooms, a museum store, the possibility of paying for tickets with both a card and cash, booking an excursion. There were a lot of visitors on this hot day, there was a group with an English-speaking guide. The house itself is not a memorial, Sergei Parajanov did not live here, but he chose exactly the kind of house in which the artist could live. But there are numerous works from the wound, many gifts, and some memorabilia from Tbilisi. I recommend you to visit! The staff is very helpful)

I didn't like my feelings. For the first time, human creativity made me gag. I went through the entire exhibition and the negative impressions only intensified. I left the museum thinking that any psychiatrist would immediately diagnose him correctly. But, I repeat, these are my feelings.

A sad museum with absolutely incomprehensible creativity for a normal person. The feeling that the main purpose of the museum is the destruction of traditional values. And not only creativity, but also the figure of the creator itself is very ambiguous. I do not recommend it for viewing.

The museum is interesting, but only in conjunction with the tour. You need to take care of it in advance-order it for a group or take it individually. I was alone, I took an audio guide, but this is a dry short story. Not a substitute for an excursion. 2 floors of expositions. It will take you about 1.0-1.5 hours to see everything. But I must say right away, you will not get out of there on the positive side. It will not be interesting for children at all, because it is not clear to them. Things are deep, philosophical and not joyful at all.

A very atmospheric place, a house built for one of the outstanding film directors of Armenian origin with a worldwide reputation.
