Soviet 'chick' - you better avoid it in most of the circumstances.
Tiles in the bathroom are falling off, the shower is falling out, no soap in the bathroom.
Very cheap, though

I liked the hotel. But a solid four. The location is excellent, the metro station is immediately to the right of the exit. The center, near some attractions (Timurid Museum, Amir Timur Square, local Broadway) 2-storey sightseeing buses depart from the hotel. The breakfasts are good, everything is basic. The tables are large, more than 4 people, unusual. It's better to come early, then there will be places. As already mentioned, chic and glitter are only in the lobby. The rooms are worn out, with worn carpet. But in appearance, if you don't look closely, it seems decent, in the same color scheme and style. There was everything you needed, cosmetics, water, tea. The bathroom door wouldn't close, and the safe was broken. We had a connecting door to the next room. It was uncomfortable and I could hear the neighbors talking. The staff is polite.

The location of the hotel is convenient, it is easy to get from the airport and anywhere in Tashkent. The staff is helpful. The breakfasts are good. The linen is clean. That's where the advantages end. We lived on the 15th floor. View of the square. It's a little noisy. The striking of the clock is very audible at night, perhaps the windows are not the best. The rooms definitely need to be updated, everything is dilapidated. The bed is terrible, it swings like the deck of a ship during a boat trip, it is impossible to turn over noiselessly. I can't say if this is the case in the entire hotel, perhaps it has already been renovated somewhere, because the lobby and reception look presentable. I'll look for a better hotel next time.

I liked everything! Good location in the center, everything is within walking distance. Good service, comfortable bed, cleanliness, everything you needed was in the room. Buffet breakfast - but in fact the same thing every day, there were porridges, delicious. A very interesting design of the lobby in the national style, wonderful murals on the walls, pleasant lighting solutions. The bar was open around the clock ;) polite staff. The only downside is that everyone smokes openly, but we were told that it's just the way it is in this country.

The location of the hotel is of course gorgeous, the Amir Temur metro station is right at the entrance to the hotel, there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel is undergoing gradual renovation, the lobby downstairs, the reception, the breakfast room have already been updated, everything is good and beautiful there.but!there are also many unreleased rooms-I lived in this, you get to the USSR in the 70s. Everything needs to be replaced, both furniture and plumbing, but in general it is clean and even somehow cozy. The room is large.Of the cons:the water was barely warm and it didn't work out well to take a shower. The breakfasts are good, lots of fruits, delicious hot dishes, juices from the bags, the pastries are delicious, there was samsa with different fillings every day. The staff tries their best, they help in everything, they are very kind. Check-in and check-out at 12.00. in general, I recommend, but not picky guests to repair.I think that after a complete renovation it will be very good!

The location is in the heart of Tashkent, which is incredibly convenient, the lobby and restaurants downstairs are quite decent, the exchanger and ATM on the ground floor are very convenient. The views of Tashkent from the upper floors are also amazing. However, the interior of the corridors and rooms is not quite fresh, plumbing and furniture in parts could be replaced, floors cycled, etc. At the same time, we did not regret that we stayed there in Tashkent, a hotel with a soul))

A good hotel, in the center of Tashkent, immediately metro, transport, convenient to anywhere in the city. There are normal rooms, and there are shovel rooms. The staff is excellent. The food is good, but standard. If you make offices there, it seems it would be more profitable)
for the last century..Retro...earlier, there was a rumble, a currency bar, restaurants, Czech beer in a jar for 5 rubles)))
You can stop once...even for the sake of branded TOBACCO CHICKENS, there is a famous Tashkent Corner, 100 meters in a circle. They have their own loaf of bread, as before for 22 kopecks

Among the advantages: the location, the reception looks good, taxis drive up to the entrance, the staff is very polite and always ready to help, a good mattress and linen, good coffee for breakfast, a large room. Of the cons: the room itself is already quite sad, worn out: the bathroom is in some kind of stains and plaque, the breakfasts are monotonous, there was something like an air conditioner in the room that the devil knows how to turn off. In general, the problem of all hotels is that it is hot, and an open window in the evening gives out wonderful sounds of Tashkent traffic jams. Verdict- you can live) if you do not fall on peterest

The Uzbekistan Hotel is one of the most famous and iconic hotels in Tashkent, located in the city center, on Amir Timur Square. Built in 1974, it is an example of Soviet modernist architecture and a symbol of the era. The building is easily recognizable due to its unique facade grille and distinctive shape.
Hotel Features:
• Location: The hotel is located in the heart of Tashkent, which makes it convenient for tourists and business guests. The main attractions of the city are located nearby: Amir Timur Square, a park, a museum and various cultural institutions.
• Rooms: The hotel offers various categories of rooms, from standard to suites. The rooms have basic amenities, but some guests note that the furnishings need updating.
• Services: The hotel has restaurants, conference rooms, a fitness center, as well as other facilities for guests.
• Atmosphere: The building has historical significance and often makes visitors feel nostalgic. However, the hotel has survived the renovation, preserving the original spirit.
The Uzbekistan Hotel often attracts tourists, architecture lovers and those who are looking for comfortable accommodation in the city center.

When I first came to Tashkent and studied the city. I immediately noticed a hotel in the city center. Today, fortunately for me, I visited this hotel. Price -quality, pleasantly pleased. A large room, which is important, a soft bed. Beautiful view from the 12th floor. Extremely friendly staff. The legendary pilaf cafe is 4 km away. There are a million advantages of this hotel. For those traveling from Moscow, the hotel is a copy of Sputnik, which is on VDNH. Especially those who appreciate architecture and history will like it.

We arrived from Moscow on September 5th. The location is in the very center of the city. The hotel is large, 16 floors. They put us up on the 6th floor. The room is small. Furniture, as they say, greetings from the 70s. Very old, all cracked, creaking. If the windows face the road, it is noisy, because the windows are old, not plastic. There was a kettle, but the sockets didn't work. There was no hot water in the room and the front doors in the room were not closed. After complaints, our room was changed a day later. It was on the 15th floor, more recently renovated. In the toilet room, the dispenser with liquid soap was not working properly, the soap trickled out in a day. The shower curtain was yellow with water.
But the breakfasts in this hotel are very good. There are a lot of fresh vegetables, fruits, delicious pastries, coffee, tea, porridge, several second courses, cottage cheese, yogurt, sour cream, stewed vegetables.
The territory is within walking distance of a magnificent park, very well-groomed territory, a few steps from the metro station, squares, very green. It's just the perfect place for walking.

For its 44 dollars with breakfast, the hotel is just great. It is located in the very center, near several metro stations, and for a couple of dollars you can take a Yandex taxi almost anywhere in the city. The hotel is not new, but it is very large and quite clean, there is a minimarket downstairs, there are many restaurants and shops nearby. I flew in for a day on business, and if I need to again, I'll be happy to stay here again.

The 17-storey hotel complex towers over the intersection of Mustakillik Avenue and Amir Timur Square, a remarkable monument of Soviet postmodernity. With the correct location of the interior space, which is obviously quite sufficient, and a solid margin of safety of the building's load-bearing structures.
Like many Soviet monumental buildings, they require timely maintenance support.
The staff is polite and helpful.
Of the disadvantages, there is no water on the floor. There is no cooler. I have to buy.

We stayed at the hotel with our daughter. A very positive impression. A clean room with all amenities. The bed and towels are snow-white. The air conditioners work well. We lived on the 15th floor with a beautiful view of the city. The breakfasts are very varied, everyone will find something to their taste. Soft slippers, shampoos, shower gels, toothbrushes and toothpaste. They also used a safe where they could leave money and valuables. The only drawback is that the shower was leaking, and water was accumulating in the sink due to a blockage. Good sound insulation. The reception staff, the restaurant staff and the maids are very polite. Convenient location in the very center of the city, 2 steps from the Amir Temur metro station. Every day you can go on a Bus City tour directly from the hotel on a comfortable double decker. The tour is very well organized. In the evening, you can stroll through the beautiful central places of the capital. The evening view of the hotel with its burning multicolored lights is also very impressive.
We were very satisfied. The price-quality ratio is the most optimal. On our next visit to Tashkent, we will stay only at the Uzbekistan Hotel. We wish the administration and staff of the hotel further success and prosperity. I recommend it to all guests of the capital of Uzbekistan.

The hotel is in a good, convenient location, almost in the center, near a beautiful park. Everything is fine there, of course the rooms are different, at least at one rate, there are spacious, there is a small one. The building was built under the USSR, which I didn't like: the floor covering is theft, worn out, the air conditioner is huge on the floor, about 1.7 m, it makes terrible noise, the brain explodes, but it's not much use, it blows a little cool, it doesn't cool normally. However, towels are changed often.

My favorite place to live in Tashkent. IDEAL location (couldn't be more central)
Very good infrastructure. A clear, concise and at the same time very helpful attitude of the staff. At the end of 2024, the renovation of the lobby and the 17th floor was updated (for those who know).
At the same time, the prices for accommodation are quite moderate.

We lived in a double room with a view of the square.
I'll tell you right away, I'm tired. I missed it by mistake. I wanted to stay in the hotel where I lived with the tour group many years ago, but that hotel (the Moscow Hotel), as it turned out, was closed a long time ago. Now the Saudis have bought it and are restoring it.
Everything in the room is very tired. Either since the 90s or the 2000s, there has been no repair. The furniture, walls, ceiling, and bathroom are simply from the 90s. The TV programs are strange and there is little Russian. Mattresses, by the way, are more or less acceptable. Everything in the bathroom is smeared, it must have leaked, the plumbing is old, the faucet is tightly regulated.
Well, that is, you definitely won't get aesthetic satisfaction in this room))
But. On the other hand, everything is working, there is no mold, there was no noise at night. The decorative concrete grille of the facade would have made it difficult to look at the city, but the windows were so dirty that I didn't really want to look. In general, as a 1-2 star hotel, it is normal, no squeamishness was experienced, more or less clean except for the windows. The lobby works great. Breakfast for 1-2 stars is normal. It's not bad in principle, except for the meager selection, but it was January, maybe in summer or autumn, everything is bursting with phenomena. As a result, I will not settle there anymore, for this money there are better options in Tashkent. There are a lot of very decent new mini-hotels, and we stayed in one of them for part of the trip.
As usual, a final life hack:
In Tashkent, they traveled by metro and they have an analog of the Troika card. One problem is that you can't pass. But it's cheaper to travel there. Consider in advance whether it will pay off or not. You can walk on it, as I understand it, at most two of us.
Have a nice trip, everyone!

Back in USSR! An excellent retro hotel, excellent location, the center, near the metro, many restaurants and cafes of different levels, including the famous Bla Bla bar. I overslept breakfast, unfortunately. It is served directly in the lobby. There are 2 restaurants on the 17th floor, Uzbek and panoramic. Of the features, I would not call it a minus - a noisy air conditioner in the TV cabinet, it is not regulated and looks as if it was designed by the defense engineers of the 70s. I advise those who love Soviet vintage, which is also carefully maintained in good condition.

We were regular guests, but the service got worse every time. Yes, the location and the view are beautiful, but that's the only plus.
The last time we stayed, there were no bathrobes and toothbrushes in the room, and it was also not cleaned – garbage was found under the bed, which indicates the negligence of cleaning. We've been trying to reach the reception all day, but to no avail. When we finally managed to get in touch and ask for bathrobes, toothbrushes and soap, they didn't bring us anything. It wasn't until the next day, after the repeated request, that the necessary items were finally given out.
In addition, we were a little late for breakfast – only 10 minutes, but they refused to offer us anything and showed no flexibility. And the dishes in the restaurant, which must be ordered for a fee, turned out to be absolutely tasteless – a waste of money.
In general, it's a disappointment. The service is at the lowest level. This hotel does not deserve a single star. We're not going back there anymore.

This is the first time that I haven't even stayed in a hotel for two hours! And I strongly advise everyone not to stay here.
The situation is as follows:
I was recommended to stay for a day or two at the hotel- attractions - Hotel Uzbekistan. The place is really interesting and I really liked the outside. Also, upon arrival, the receptionists were very adequate and friendly. The room turned down is very colorful, old, but cool - as promised to me, like in a museum! I flew in with a friend who left her suitcase in the room while we were looking at the city. She also left her jacket at the reception. We returned from a city tour and my friend was bored to meet and go home to her family. Naturally, we first picked up the jacket at the reception, went up to get the suitcase, and they immediately called me and started saying that "no one has the right to go up." I asked them to come up and help me get down and sort it out. A young man came, called the head of security, and they began to claim that I had violated the rule of "getting up and down in 10 minutes." I explained that we had just gotten up and were also at the reception. But the man continued to be rude and insisted that I should leave the room. In the end, I packed all my suitcases, went downstairs, offered to check the cameras right now, and they naturally refused, since no 10 minutes had passed, not even 1 minute had passed. Moreover, they urgently began to claim that no one knew anything, did not speak, did not see anyone, and I urgently need to register and then I can return to the room. Of course, there was no passport in hand - well, in the end it all ended up being that "I didn't care" and no one helped or even apologized.
Bottom line: a boorish attitude and I'm definitely moving out, and no one has returned any money for a room they weren't even in or living in. You will not see such service in any normal hotel, in any normal group of hotels, even in the Holiday Inn Express. It's a terrible place
I do not advise anyone to stay here, do not approach this place.
P.S. I would like to mention separately that not only did they survive (they didn't expel me, but they did everything so that I wouldn't be there) from the hotel, they also refused to make a refund! Of course, it's not worth judging the country and the people by one hotel, but if you're European like me, then you definitely shouldn't come here and stay in this hotel.

I have a long and positive history with this hotel. I have been using this place for many years (at least 6) while on business trips. The rooms are spacious, the room has a refrigerator, a kettle, and a set of dishes. TV, of course, I really never watch it. The bathroom has (and is regularly replenished) sets of shower gels and shampoos, there is also a shaving kit and a toothbrush with toothpaste. The hair dryer is built-in. A set of fresh towels. In general, there is everything for a relaxing holiday. The hotel is popular - you can often see whole sports teams in it when sports camps or championships are held in the city. The breakfasts are wonderful, you can always find food to taste. Yes, there is also a metro nearby, within walking distance, several green parks, a walk in the evening. Among the disadvantages, I would note the poor lighting in the rooms. There seem to be a lot of light bulbs, and they are well zoned, but in general it is dark in the room in the evening, if you need to work on a business trip, it will not be particularly comfortable to do it. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with this hotel on my current visit. Perhaps this is a long-standing story, but I have not noticed this problem over the years. Bedbugs live in the room. There are some wild numbers of them. Yes, the hotel is old, the rooms have probably been decorated since Soviet times, and it is currently being renovated, perhaps after a while everything will be completely different, but now I have to fight off these creatures and practically do not sleep. Very upset, and that's putting it mildly.

Everything is really bad.... The location somehow pulls this institution out of the abyss, just like the Soviet-autochthonous appearance, but otherwise the melancholy is hopeless.... We traveled with venerable, together for several days, so the challenge in the form of an elegant design solution for ventilating the toilet in the room (just the lower half of the toilet door is made in the form of a transparent grille, a system of non-closing blinds) made us only closer. But still, those who want to retire more intimately will feel uncomfortable with the urge. The furniture was killed in the last century. It is in a state where it does not yet have archaeological value, but already causes difficulties with use. The refrigerator is great! But it does not cool down. And so - great! They've seen the beds, it's good that they can't talk, but their moaning at every touch is painful and compassionate. And all this despite the fact that we were given a "great" room, as the staff messed up when checking in.

I stayed here for a few days when I came to the exhibition in Tashkent.
This is a living monument of Soviet architecture of the 70s!!! For lovers of antiquity, that's the best thing, but for those who evaluate hotels according to the timing of repairs and the price tag (the Revisor approach) will not go in, since the surroundings and furniture are still of that era, and the cost of living is high.
Among the advantages: a great location in the city center, the metro is a two-minute walk away, you can walk slowly to the Alai market for edible souvenirs in 15 minutes, or take one metro stop. There are many bars, cafes, etc. nearby within walking distance of establishments where you can pass the evening (Brawler, etc.). By the way, on the ground floor in the restaurant of this hotel you can also eat delicious food, including national dishes (the only thing is there is no pilaf). There is also something to choose from for a buffet breakfast. It is also convenient for fans of riding on sightseeing 2-storey buses, people gather just here.
Of the cons: it's bad with toiletries (toothbrush, shampoo, etc. you need to prepare your own).
In general, if time in Tashkent is limited, but funds allow, and you want to have time to walk around the city center, try local cuisine, sit in local cafes, I definitely recommend staying here.

The positive reviews are surprising. We stopped by this hotel just for the sake of experiment. Yes, friendly and kind people at the reception.
But the rooms are very old and tired. Dirty plumbing and stains on the carpet. A broken toilet and dirty windows.
There is not enough space for breakfast, you have to sit at a common table with Indians / Chinese and other guests. Locals and taxi drivers jostle in the lobby, creating the effect of a train station.
The floors have a chemical smell (dichlorvos?), scuffed walls and low ceilings.
And so that you don't want to commit suicide from the surrounding environment, antisuicidal nets are stretched in the stairwells.
Undoubtedly, this hotel is the heritage of a large country. But this legacy is now in very poor condition.

The hotel is beautiful! Everything is fine! Many complain that the furniture is old, but in my opinion, this has its own charm. The furniture looks very decent and everything in the room is thought out, everything is comfortable. The bed is magnificent - large and very comfortable. Large balcony with a wonderful view of the city. Two bottles of fresh water are brought to the room every day. There is a small refrigerator in the room .
Breakfast is a classic buffet, where everyone will find what they like. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange. The staff is very attentive and always ready to help.
On the 17th floor there is a small bar with a magnificent panoramic view of the center of Tashkent
Of the minuses-a little dark in the room. And most of the sockets for some reason are for plugs with three horns. We always have an adapter with us, so there was no problem.
The location of the hotel is the best you can think of! The very center is right next to 2 metro stations

The hotel is not bad, the location is almost in the center of the city, which is very convenient, transport, metro is close, many attractions are nearby, you can walk, the staff is friendly, they will show you everything, tell you how to find something. But look carefully at the prices, they took a room on the Internet at the same price, and when they calculated the price was significantly higher for some reason, they could not find out the reason, this is, of course, a minus. There were no slippers and bathrobes in the room. Crumbs from previous tenants were on the floor, they were asked to vacuum, the coating was cleaned, but it was bad, the next day they did not clean at all. The food leaves much to be desired, very modest, monotonous, not very tasty. For this money, you can find a very decent hotel.

The only plus is the location. It is very convenient to move around and near the metro. The rest is just trash. The hotel is just rubbish. Cleaning is zero. He left tips, asked me to get out, it was useless. They make the bed and that's it. There were 10 days. There was no repair from the word at all. It's dirty, everything is worn out, old, keeps on snot. Breakfast all 10 days as a carbon copy, the same thing. There are few tables. I do not recommend it.
