The place is atmospheric. I recommend this place. If you don't know where to find real Samarkand pilaf in Samarkand, then Ulfatlar is the right place. Almost all the guests like this place. The prices are low and the service is fast.

The most beautiful place if you want to feel and see the maximum authenticity of the Samarkand people. A very simple but soulful kitchen. The most delicious pilaf in Samarkand. The cafe is so local that even taxi drivers can't immediately find it. At the same time, there are several halls, there is enough space even if you come with a large company. But we were the only tourists, all the other visitors are local. The staff is very polite and hospitable. I recommend it for lovers of local ethnic cuisine.

It is quite possible to stop by for a snack in the morning. The price for a portion of pilaf is somewhat overpriced. 31 thousand 0.5 servings. Locals take one whole for two for 62 thousand. In Tashkent, such pilaf is called wedding. They put a little meat in a portion, the meat is not straight selected, but it is quite well cooked. In general, the pilaf is good. I didn't take anything from the proposed salad tray, although from a distance such a set looks very beautiful. I prefer to pilaf just a good achichuk with fragrant tomatoes and a portion for two, here it seemed just scanty and got lost just on a tray. Honestly, I don't quite understand why in Samarkand they carry a tray with a lot of different small salads every time in Tashkent it's not customary. There are more dishes on the menu, but it was pilaf that I came to try according to reviews. There is no delight, but if you live two steps away, you can occasionally look in. The place itself looks quite suitable for tourists, but I'm used to simpler establishments.

A wonderful authentic cafe. The menu is oral). Friendly and hospitable host. Of course there is your own pilaf, but I advise you to come for it by 12. There may be nothing left after lunch. The best places are in the courtyard behind the main gate, on the other side of the street (from the main cafe). I recommend.
In the next alley there is a currency exchange (without a sign, ask in a cafe - they will show you), with a normal exchange rate.
