After visiting Tamerlane's grave (Gur Emir), do not listen to the guides, but walk through the town of artisans (souvenirs) and the Ruhabbad mausoleum, then the tiger guards. Cross the road, walk to the underpass and you're practically at the Registan. The distance is 1.5 - 2 kilometers. Go around Registan on the right and you are on Islam Karimov Street, about a kilometer and you are at Bibi Khanum and Siab market. Across the bridge and to the right and here is Shahi Zinda. So you will see a lot of interesting things for yourself during the day, and most importantly, you will see how the locals live. By the way, Bibi Khanum Street is located a little to the left, approximately parallel to Islam Karimov Street, along which you will also get to Siab Bazaar and Bibi Khanum.
