I planned my day in Abu Dhabi on 07/21/2024 in advance. I understood that after visiting the Louvre I would need to have lunch, and even in Moscow I booked a table at Fouquet's French restaurant, located on the territory of the Louvre.
Fouquet's is mentioned in the Michelin guide, but so far without stars. I think everything is ahead. 😊
I said hello, introduced myself, the lovely hostess checked my reservation and sat me down at a table next to the window, from which a beautiful view opened.
I began to study the menu, which has both French and Mediterranean dishes and even fusion.
What does everyone associate French cuisine with? Probably, everyone has different associations. I strongly associate French cuisine with foie gras. How could I end up in a French restaurant and not order foie gras? I chose sea bass as the main course, and ordered profiteroles for dessert.
They brought me amuse de bouche and delicious French bread with French salted butter.
Very soon they brought me fried foie gras. A sweet and sour dish without excessive cloying, but the sweetness should be: sweet hot foie gras is loved by the French. Very tasty! A great dish!
Sea bass with spinach, a small amount of rui sauce. Rice is served with fish, as well as shrimp with mussels in a creamy sauce (marmite dieppoise). What could be better than a soft tender fish with spinach, rice (which is properly cooked), and even with the most delicious and freshest seafood that has retained its delicate taste? Very tasty! And it's also satisfying. But I've already ordered dessert... there's no turning back: once I've ordered, I need to at least try it. But it's impossible to break away from these profiteroles!
Custard dough with vanilla ice cream filling, decorated with buttercream and almond flakes. In front of me, the waiter poured hot chocolate sauce over all this beauty. I couldn't tear myself away: I've never eaten such delicious profiteroles. I am not a lover of sweets, but the dessert in the restaurant caused me the most vivid emotions. An excellent dessert, after which it is pleasant to drink a cup of delicious coffee from a cup with the restaurant's logo.
The service was also excellent: they met, provided a good table, answered all questions about the menu, told everything. The waiters promptly changed the appliances, cleaned dirty dishes and napkins, and poured water.
I was satisfied with my visit to Fouquet's in Abu Dhabi and continued sightseeing in Abu Dhabi in a good mood.

The place is amazing, the views are impressive.
The restaurant itself was shocked by the wonderful vocals combined with the sea, sunset, night view and beautiful weather.

The food did not leave a pleasant trace, the expensive meat, cooking of which involves languishing for many hours, seemed to me over-salted and like stew from a jar. It is very important to me that there is no salty taste. I was told that it was some kind of super duper sauce, but it didn't help me change my mind.
The cakes were not impressed either.
And after the alcohol the next morning it was not very good, and I spent the whole day lying down.
The next day we went to another restaurant and everything seemed divine to me there, even desserts, which I no longer want after a hearty meal.
This is my opinion and not a quibble in any case, especially since I compared it with another, and did not unreasonably speak out.
I'll bet five, since my opinion does not claim to be absolute, my colleagues were satisfied. + Amazing vocals that blend with the sea and space.

A futuristic place. A place of power. A place of inspiration and peace. A combination of nature and modern technology. The unusual and at the same
time simple design will not leave anyone indifferent. In combination with the exhibits and interesting interactivity, the Louvre is definitely worth a visit. And of course, have dinner at a local restaurant with incredibly instagrammable views)))
