A great place to get to know the history and culture of the local Arabs. The interactivity of the exhibits is minimal, but it is still quite informative, especially if you read the signs in English or Arabic. Our knowledge of English was mediocre, but everything was clear anyway. The next day, our children asked us to come for a walk in this museum again :)

July 17
Hello, everyone. We had a vacation in July in the UAE, in Ajman, and decided to visit the museum. The museum is not expensive, they gave 15 dirhams for 4 people. We really liked it, everything is spacious, there is no sense. There are many halls and expositions, probably in the entire history of the UAE. There are air conditioners in the halls, you don't die from the heat. Definitely worth a visit. The only thing is that the description is all in Arabic and English. In Russian, it would still be 5+

It is considered the best museum in the UAE. It is dedicated to the life of Arabs in the past, even deep before the oil era. It is located in an interesting building, similar to an ancient fortress. The museum presents expositions of the way of life of people: teaching children at school, medical practices, costumes and jewelry, weapons, tools, musical instruments, there is a hall dedicated to radio, horses and camels, there is an exposition of the ancient market, a beautiful hall dedicated to pearl fishing- the main income of the ancient Ajmans. The museum is divided into halls, each of which is located in a separate room of the fortress. There are comments in Arabic and English.
