We have been twice with my daughter there. We enjoyed in both performances, first was about mama goat and her children. Second was Buratino (Pinocchio), may daughter and her friends enjoyed and sang songs with performers 🥰🤩

The only unique, fun multi-faceted theater in the Republic.Both the adult and children's repertoire, everything is fine!Especially classical works, modern ones are lame.The troupe, the orchestra-bravo! The only thing missing is the renovation of the seats and in general...In short, the USSR!
But everything is compensated by the aura, enthusiasm, and emotional positivity))))

It's a wonderful place, all the staff are very polite and friendly. The atmosphere is like in childhood, the theater should be like that. The performance was also very interesting, all the points were taken into account by the organizers. I definitely recommend everyone to come here with children. For very normal prices, you can get great experiences.

We visited the theater during a trip to Uzbekistan. The play "it was in the mahal".
Excellent singers performed their favorite songs of the Soviet era in the performance. It is very beautiful, sincere and professional.

So far, we have been with our daughter to only one performance - "Mama". We were walking blindly: there is no real information about the performance either on the theater's website or on the poster.Uz, nowhere... And it's a pity, because the performance is wonderful, it was created based on the fairy tale "The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats" (they don't write about it anywhere), excellent actors, costumes, scenery, during the performance there is a little interaction with the children in the audience (but my daughter was 2.8 years old, it was just a little scary). The vocals are good, but it's a soundtrack.
In short, it is a pity that the theater does not advertise itself, does not promote, does not write a lot of necessary and useful details about its performances!
That's probably why there wasn't even half the audience at the performance, and this is in a city as large as Tashkent in terms of the child population! And at a very cheap ticket price!
On the downside: it's very cold in the gym - we were sitting in jackets and hats. Well, the toilets need modern renovation...
but if the halls were full, these issues would be resolved quickly...
The staff is polite and attentive.

Recently, I attended the amazing performance "Amphibian Man" at the Musical Comedy (Operetta) Theater of Uzbekistan and was completely delighted. It turned out to be a truly unforgettable sight, full of magic and magic, which revived the classic novel by Alexander Belyaev.
The production itself was performed at the highest level. The simple decorations surprised the imagination with their detail and originality, realistically recreating the city and the underwater world. They were especially amused by the underwater scenes, where the actors created the illusion of swimming and moving underwater with the help of choreography and special effects.
The cast turned out to be just great. The main character, played by Babur Chuliev, was so convincing in the role of Ichthyander that it seemed as if he really was a man from another world. The emotional depth and sensuality with which he reflected the experiences of his character did not leave anyone indifferent. I would also like to mention the magnificent performance of the charismatic and talented Igor Bukhaidze, who gave a special charm to his Pedro Zurita.
The musical accompaniment and songs added a special atmosphere and depth to each scene. Catchy and emotional melodies perfectly reflected the inner world of the characters and the development of the plot.
The costumes and make-up were executed with incredible care and attention to detail. They helped to fully immerse themselves in history and believe in the world that was created on stage.
In Amphibian Man, it was possible to combine acting, visual effects, music and choreography into a single whole, thereby creating a truly exciting and colorful performance.
Overall, attending the performance was an unforgettable experience for me. It was not just a theatrical performance, but a real immersion into another world full of wonders and discoveries. I recommend it to anyone who appreciates high-quality theater and a good story.

Almost the last "survivor" of the Tashkent theater. I am writing this review standing at the cash register, which is closed during business hours. No one picks up the phone either. It becomes very unpleasant from this attitude towards visitors. It is not always possible to purchase e-tickets. As for the performances, some of them leave positive impressions. Part of it is an unpleasant aftertaste. Renovation of the hall, of course, would not hurt. There is a lack of funding. It is a pity that the cultural sphere is gradually declining.

The best theater in Tashkent in my opinion! The actors give their best and love their job, it can be seen from their performances. One performance is more beautiful than the other! I liked it very much. The female receptionists are very polite, the atmosphere is homely, ticket prices are low. The actors play with their hearts, they try, the musicians play all the parts well. It's a good theater, one of my favorites. We were with children at children's performances - they are gorgeous. Both kids and schoolchildren liked it. The adult performances are also good, especially I liked the performance of the musical with an orchestra and live performance of songs, at the end of the season.

Good theater, interesting productions, it's not clear why they sing to the soundtrack in a musical theater, but noisy kids can hear it better. The building itself needs repair, it was cold in winter. This is probably the most magical place. The performance is shown here for both adults and children. Many people have been going to performances for years and for generations of their families. You get so many different emotions every time and you always see something new, as if rereading a book every time you notice new impressions. Just a huge thank you to the entire large staff of the Operetta Theater, it's great that for so many years you have all been giving people so much kindness and happiness.
