I want to share a story that happened to a friend of mine a few years ago. It is clear that, being in a state of shock, he agreed to pay several thousand Belarusian rubles to a "qualified" lawyer, A. A. Suslo.... and this was his mistake. Not only did the lawyer not agree to go to a conversation in the police department with the defendant, where he was beaten by employees and taken into custody, he also simply "overslept" the court, absolutely did not prepare for it and almost did not participate in the process. Moreover, he simply did not come to the consideration of the appeal (taking a lot of money for the work on the appeal too). As a result, the man ended up in jail in a case that any other lawyer would have handled. My advice is to stay away from him.
