An excellent restaurant, after reading the comments, it is important to say that in Almaty it is extremely difficult to find a high level of service from hostesses or waiters, but in this institution not everything is so bad.
We were served by Ivan, who has a lot of experience behind him in different parts of the world and it is visible and felt, he perfectly picked up positions on food and got into cocktails!
I highly recommend trying it:

Lovely eggs benedict: tender pancakes, well-steamed spinach, non-smelly salmon and a well-boiled poached egg. Worthy.
Omelet with pastrami.
The omelet itself is ordinary, too much cheese. Pastrami is interesting, but a little dry. The parmesan mousse, of course, pulls the whole story by the ears.
I really liked the tartar, but only its upper part, which does not reach the bottom of the plate, is the one right under the brushwood. All this is unacceptably greasy if you try to eat it alone.
Sashimi was cooked to the delight of everyone very well - the meat was perfectly combined with sauce and fresh cucumber.
A place, of course, with a claim that can never be realized due to extremely poor service:
1. A self-confident hostess put us at an unsuccessful table. The waiter transferred us for 10 minutes, running from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor to resolve this issue with the hostess. There were 5 of us. They refused to put us at the table where we were last time, explaining that a banquet for 7 people was expected there. As a result, there were 5 people sitting there, having a modest breakfast. Utter disappointment.
Conclusion: discuss table reservations with them in advance - place, floor, position. They won't ask you that and they won't help you. Their hostess function is nominal, purely for wardrobe control.
2. The waiters are too modest, do not know the menu well and mumble to themselves. They can't tell you anything about the position. As a result, you buy a pig in a poke.
That is, the kitchen is working there, and the people in the hall do not even know what they are carrying into the hall on plates!? Well, then why is this all!? Just carrying plates?
The most unpleasant thing was for dessert. We paid the bill, and then attention - BY TRANSFER TO the waiter's PHONE! This is the first time in Almaty that I have not been given a fiscal receipt in a restaurant.
No one even offered to make a payment using the abr application!
For such a total, I can't put you all above 3, even for all the crucifixes in your kitchen.
