We attended a polo game and were delighted with literally everything.
The taxi dropped us off at the wrong place, so as a bonus we walked around the territory, looked at the levada and the stables. I am involved in equestrian sports, so I can say that horses are kept in ideal conditions. Everything is very clean, lots of greenery, the club itself occupies a huge area.
Several zones were organized for the spectators, on one side of the field — free with tables and VIP, where everything was packed and very noisy, on the other — with tents and blankets, you could watch the game lying on the lawn. There were a lot of people, especially Russians, although this is already the norm for Dubai.
The polo itself was very dynamic and spectacular, especially when a crowd of riders rushed past you, it took your breath away. Watching the game, you can order food, which we did, the kitchen is not bad, at 6.5/10, there are alcoholic beverages. The service is good, although some dishes have been waiting a long time.
At the end of the event, all the spectators were invited to the field, it was necessary to find a gold coin in the grass and receive a prize, as it turned out, this is a tradition in the club. At that time, we went to the horses resting under the canopy. They are all very well-groomed, calm, unrealistically stately and beautiful, it is noticeable how the Arabs appreciate these magnificent animals.
I highly recommend visiting this place, in addition to playing polo, you can sign up for horse riding lessons, take a walk, and just admire the horses.
