We rested for three years in a row. Everything matches the description. The territory is well maintained, the owners are respectable and friendly. On the first check-in, due to the queue at the border, we arrived almost at midnight. We were met, accommodated, and in the morning we solved work issues. It is 15 minutes to the sea, of which you walk halfway along the blooming street. We would have come again, but we closed the Belarusian border. But I think that this situation will change and we will come here again.

That's how my wife and I read sweet reviews, looked at beautiful photos and decided to go on vacation to Elena in August 2016. We booked a 2-room room with a kitchen and a bathroom, as there were five of us: my child and I also took our parents (we haven't had a vacation at sea for a long time). The hostess requires a reservation only for 2 days! The territory of the Alexander estate is really larger than that of other owners, paved paths, a couple of brick summer kitchens with a barbecue, a couple of tables. But everything is somehow not well maintained enough. Dust, dirt. Although, this is not the main thing. The main thing is that the number does not match the declared description. The room is not on the ground floor, but in the basement, bordering the cellar, so the smell of dampness is constantly present. There is no air conditioning. Problems with electricity (it was cut off twice for 5-6 hours) apparently due to the huge load on the cooperative. But even this is tolerable. After an hour of our stay there, the hostess demanded a full payment. This is done by those who know that the client may change his mind due to a mismatch of information. We expressed a wish to look around and pay the next day (to be honest, we did not even think about changing the place), but the annoying demands were repeated every hour. The light went out in the evening – until morning. There is an iron staircase near the entrance to the "room" and you can enjoy the sound of vacationers' footsteps around the clock. My wife and child and I used to relax in many places (Crimea, Zatoka, Lazurnoye, Koblevo....) and nowhere and never has anyone shaken out money with such tenacity. Moreover, the reservation is mainly taken for 1 day. It was decided to move out the very next day. About the "10 minutes" to the sea – by car yes. 15-20 minutes on foot. As soon as possible – head over heels from the railway straight to the beach (min.7, I think). If you chose Alex.the estate – prepare the money immediately at the entrance to the gate and do not complain about anything else. Have a nice stay for everyone! P.S. And we had a wonderful rest on the first line overlooking the sea. If Elena has this number of 1200 UAH/ day, there are 1500 UAH / day. A little more expensive, but also more comfortable. It is quite possible to find it yourself, since not everything is on the Internet. Good luck!
