I stayed at the AMAKS Hotel in April. It was not fast, as it turned out, then it was possible to have a free room with hotels in Gomel. On the 9th attempt, I found AMAX. Very pleasant interior, we will not take into account the belonging of the style) room, bathroom, bed - clean, tidy. Brushes for clothes, shoes, a shovel. I slept peacefully, no one made any noise. Breakfast was included, initially paid for. There were no queues in the dining room, they offered a choice, it was edible)) For one day - no problem at all, a good hotel! I recommend it!

We were with colleagues at this hotel on 22-23.05.2023. Probably a good price-quality ratio, in general, but I don't want to go to this hotel anymore :) Very upset: -a "customized" breakfast with a limited assortment. The scrambled eggs were brought to me raw (not with liquid yolk, namely raw), the sausages were tasteless ... - the absence of a second pillow and a small blanket on a large bed is at least not comfortable. The "composite mattress" also does not add comfort to rest, -bottled water in the room. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, we were in relatively mild weather, it will be difficult in the summer heat. one of the advantages is walking distance from the railway station.

On May 17, a partner from Moscow asked to book a room at the Gomel hotel for 21 p.m. There were no available rooms in Gomel, as well as in Paradis. I contacted Amax and was lucky, the room was free. My friend liked it, near the train station, cozy, quiet, not bothered by transport. There is a cafe, a good breakfast.

I didn't expect much from the hotel for that kind of money. The staff is polite, efficient, settled quickly. There are a lot of athletes in the hotel. The sound insulation is extremely low, as if someone is talking next to me in the room or the door is wide open. The TV looks more like an iPad on the wall. The room was the last one available, so there were two separate beds of 1.6 (shifted by 0.8) and a blanket a meter wide. The bed linen is new, white, and pleasant. The pressure in the shower is normal, hot water starts running after about 10 minutes)) There is a small unguarded parking nearby. For breakfast, inedible porridge, scrambled eggs and disgusting coffee, which is impossible to drink with all the desire. It's acceptable for one night, but I'm unlikely to come back.

The hotel is fully consistent with the price and quality. But one thing struck me: the receptionist chose the main course of breakfast for us. You can choose from pancakes or pasta with sausages. In the morning, the cafe waiter informed us that our breakfast was numbered 1 and not numbered 2 and could not be changed. The administrator explained that the pancakes were over anyway and one option was available (per day!!!). Thank God, there were no such incidents in other cities of Belarus. I wouldn't mind carbonara paste or something like that

We booked a room in advance, for a day, a double room, stayed on the road, arrived two hours later than stated, and then the most "friendly" administrator Frolov was waiting for us, first looking for our reservation for 15 minutes, which turned out to be written on a piece of paper and was already lying in the trash, and we arrived with an infant, then it came to documents, my husband had a passport, my passport and birth certificate were photographed on the phone, to which the administrator said that he could not check us in, because we did not have documents available..."there are different people walking around at night, taking women to rooms, and then everything disappears..."This is for a family, with an infant in their arms, at 2 a.m., the "adequate" and "highly qualified" administrator of this hotel expressed his assessment, as a result, we begged him for half an hour and he, do not understand who, as he put it, settled not in the reserved double, but in a single room.According to the room, I want to add, the Windows overlook the railway, it is very noisy, the room itself is not the first freshness, there is absolutely no kettle, no cutlery, no bowls.A bedside table without one shelf, a bottle of soap in the bathroom is generally broken, there is no shelf, the only plus is the air conditioner, it's great for hot weather, but sorry for 90 rubles, per day, it doesn't pull at all, and in general, I understand that this is a former dormitory building, there is no elevator, the corridors are small and narrow,in the corridor, as in the vestibule of the train, it is not convenient at all.At the expense of breakfast, which is included in the price: sausages 2 pcs, eggs 2 pcs and yogurt is the cheapest. To be honest, if my family and I decide to visit Gomel, then we will definitely never stay in this "friendly" hotel in the city again, honestly not a friendly staff and not a decent place to relax, even for a day, a place that left just a spoiled mood.
