Brought the child to have a small superficial caries of the 1st tooth. I stayed waiting at the reception, unfortunately, although it would seem that what could be done wrong?
A simple basic action.
When the doctor did, they told me that they had taken an X-ray of 2 (!) jaws (!). WITHOUT ASKING the parent, without asking for CONSENT.
There was NO answer to the question of WHY the child was X-rayed without any medical indications. Without knowing if the child has taken X-rays recently.
It's just incredible... the fundamental misunderstanding of the potentially harmful effects measured by the mSv. Misunderstanding of what you have to ask a parent.…
