Aram Khachaturian was one of the greatest composers of the twentieth century. Ultimately, his music conquered not only the Soviet Union, but the whole world. In his works, he used motifs of Armenian folk melodies. Roots He was born in 1903 to an Armenian family in Tiflis (now Tbilisi, Georgia) and grew up there. After the Soviet Union was founded, he moved to Moscow, where he received his education at the Music College named after him. The Gnessins. He was an adherent of socialism, but despite this, the authorities accused him that the music he wrote was inaccessible to ordinary people. Later, this opinion changed, but the number of works that he created during his life was very small.
