Not a bad hotel. The staff is very pleasant, the reception staff is very polite, ready to help, they have a separate respect. The hotel itself is not bad, there is no elevator, but it is useful to walk, the rooms are slightly tired, but in general it will go for a week of business trip. The air conditioner is working properly, there is a bathtub, gels / shampoos are changed, towels are cleaned every day. A refrigerator with a minibar, but considering that the central street with cafes and stalls that work around the clock, it is not relevant. By the way, despite the city center, the room overlooking this very street is not noisy, I slept well! Breakfast is a buffet, without frills, but satisfying: porridge, eggs and all kinds of meat to them, sliced sausage/ cheese, bread, jams, milk and cereals, tea and coffee. There are many shops and cafes nearby, if someone did not have enough breakfast) in general, I can recommend a week on a business trip to stay

The hotel is good. The location is the best thing a tourist needs in Baku. The area is very cozy, clean, beautiful, there are all kinds of shops, restaurants, currency exchange right in front, a VTB ATM where you can withdraw money from a mir card - about 200 meters to the corner with the next street (you need to go through the underpass to the other side of the road).
The hotel is 3 stars, but everything was clean enough, of course everything in the room is not new, but we had no special complaints (except for draining the water in the shower cabin - it drained badly), the water pressure was average, the plumbing was serviceable, cleaning every day, 2 bottles of water, shower gel and shampoo were added every day.
Breakfast for hotels of this price policy is standard, nothing special, but you will not stay hungry.
As for the stairs and the lack of an elevator, of course you need to assess your physical capabilities.
The hotel actually has a sauna, it is very well heated (you need to ask the reception to turn it on in an hour).
Summary - an inexpensive and well-located hotel.

The hotel is very conveniently located.
The rooms are cleaned regularly.
Shampoo and shower gel are replenished constantly.
There is a kettle, tea, coffee, cups, wine glasses in the room.
Bathrobes are available on request.
There is a refrigerator with a bar.
The breakfasts are full. Delicious.
Note: high stairs, no elevator (it was not important for us, but someone could use the info). We didn't have a coat rack in our room at the entrance. I had to put up a chair.

Just returned from Baku, I conquered the city! It is recommended to travel 100%. Now about the hotel. Everything was fine with us. Excellent location, within walking distance of many attractions. Breakfasts in hotels for non-demanding tourists, we had enough of everything, mostly oatmeal porridge with milk (very tasty) and an omelette (also quite straight ..) there were also potatoes, but they didn't taste them, the sausages are delicious. Well, everything else was enough and pancakes with various fillers and sausage and cheese, breakfast cereals, coffee is also good. We lived on the third floor according to the room number, in fact, on the fifth floor, people who have difficulty lifting with their feet should keep this in mind. There is no elevator. In other respects, it did not bother us. The room was clean, the balcony overlooked Nizami Street. They cleaned every day. Water was brought every day. However, we had tulle with holes, it would have to be replaced. Audibility also leaves much to be desired, especially if there are those in the room who like to talk loudly and stay up at night. The bathroom was leaking water after taking a shower, they wiped the swamp with a foot towel. In general, the hotel is 3+. Special thanks to the administrator Nigara (sorry if I spelled the name wrong) what a wonderful girl! Friendly, caring, got all the answers! But in fact, we liked everything, we didn't pay attention to the little things, because the main thing was to see the sights of Baku, take a walk, enjoy the atmosphere, taste the local cuisine.

For your money, a great hotel, the location is wonderful, it is convenient to walk in the afternoon and return to the hotel to change clothes / take something / relax. The staff is friendly, the breakfasts are good, everything is there and delicious. The renovation is not new, you can fix it, of course, but the rooms are large, the beds are comfortable👍🏼 the hotel starts from about the 3rd floor, if you are given a room on the 3rd floor of the hotel, you will get a climb like 6. 103 steps for strong people.

We lived in October 2024 for three nights. The location is 5 plus. The rest is 3.5.
The bed and pillow are very hard. They asked to replace the pillow, if there is one. They agreed, but brought a second one of the same.
The linen is clean, cleaned every day, towels are changed every day. But in general, the rooms are tired. The audibility is wild- I listened to a neighbor snoring half the night, and then the children woke up behind the other wall.
The breakfasts are edible - omelette, eggs, sliced, fruits, tea, instant coffee.
Well, the stairs - you don't want to go back to the room once again. They left in the morning and returned in the evening. This staircase was the final chord to the daily 25 thousand steps around the city.

I stayed at the hotel for 10 days. The conditions are more like a prison-type dormitory, although I have never been there or there, but these are new, previously untested sensations on "vacation".
Upon check-in, you are given to sign a piece of paper that if any of your guests suddenly visit your room, you will have to pay an additional fee for their visit, regardless of how many minutes they come in.
Breakfast: on the very first morning, the only waiter who worked seven days a week for all my ten days, instead of "Good morning", came up and, for some reason, wagging his finger, like all other guests every day, said: "Er room Namber", immediately warned that nothing can be taken out of the restaurant from breakfast, otherwise - a fine! He proudly pointed to the next corresponding sign with the rule and added: "You can't even eat an apple if I'm not in the hall, the camera will take everything," he pointed to the camera.
He said this every day to almost everyone who came in, in Russian or broken English. Nevertheless, it was very funny that this did not prevent many frightened guests from sneaking apples, pears, eggs, and sandwiches out of the restaurant every day. So either the camera was working poorly, or the waiter, who was running around in the parking lot an hour before the end of breakfast time and complaining: "Why was no one there until nine, and now everyone is watching."
On the seventh day, I learned that at breakfast you can order fried eggs, as in all ordinary hotels: omelette or fried eggs: "Only these two options," the waiter revealed the secret, "We don't add any cheese, otherwise many people ask..."Apparently, they hid this egg operation in order to fry less, the cook was behind an opaque door, and it was from there that the scrambled eggs were sometimes taken out "in secret".
The same single waiter, at the end of breakfast, began to make the rounds of the rooms and came in front of you, opened the refrigerator and checked if the guest had used anything from the mini-bar. For some reason, the friend was already waving his finger at the refrigerator and another of his leaves, in which he noted who ate what or did not eat, drank or did not drink the guest.
During the first five days, the electronic room key stopped working twice a day, and it was necessary to recharge it at the reception, and this is not much, half of the 78 high steps in a hotel where there is no elevator, and the heat, after which you return to the room, is quite exhausting. In short, apparently, indeed, the "prisoners of the hostel", thus have to be checked every time they leave the "cell". They
also saved on shampoos and shower gels, adding shampoos of different new consistencies and colors to small bubbles, transparent and cloudy in one bubble (photo attached).
One more surprise: a couple of times in the morning, when you are in a hurry for an excursion, the tap ran out of water: it flowed in a trickle and suddenly ended completely."
Yes, it seems that I brought cockroaches home from the hotel in a travel bag with me, at least the kids began to run around the room two weeks after returning from Baku: not one hundred percent that from the hotel, there is no direct evidence, but I crushed a couple on the balcony of my room in Austin.
I do not recommend the Austin Hotel to anyone, despite the fact that it is located in the very center of the city on Nizami Street. Think about it a few times, because all these strange little things, actually coming from aggressive, not humane management, can radically spoil the mood on vacation or on a business trip.

Rested in May 2023. The location is super, on the most walking street. Everything interesting is within walking distance. The staff is responsive and friendly. Clean in ngmer. We were even given dressing gowns for 2 manats of tips)Breakfast is about nothing, monotonous, but everything you need is there - sausage, cheese, milk, vegetables / fruits at least, porridge, tea / coffee, juices. You can't stay hungry. It is important to keep in mind that the hotel does not have an elevator. They will help with suitcases, but it will be inconvenient for people with poor health to climb to the third, but in fact the 6th floor. Overall, we liked it!

Pros: excursions can be booked directly from the hotel. Location close to Sahil metro station. A party street with expensive establishments. Centre. To the old town and the embankment 10 minutes on foot. There is a free small swimming pool. Beautiful view of the street. Excellent air conditioning. Russian TV channels (without propaganda).
Good breakfast buffet.
Cons: WiFi is constantly falling off. It is not suitable for lovers of complete silence, people walk noisily outside the window until 04:00 (in summer), music from clubs plays and gives a slight vibration on the walls of the building. A standard room with a balcony was ordered, but instead of a balcony, in fact, a mini piece of plate with a dangerously low fence. Being on it is very scary. Every day the maid comes to check the refrigerator for the fact of the disappearance of something from the mini-bar (some kind of game, this can be done 1 time at check-out). It is better not to come in the summer - very high prices in the season, plus the heat.

The hotel is located in the very center of Baku, with all the ensuing positive consequences. The rooms are cozy with high ceilings. Polite and attentive staff. The rooms are clean, the Internet is fast. From small minuses: 1) entrance to the hotel from the street next
to Nezami. There is no numbering on the houses. I had to solve a difficult puzzle when moving in. 2) Breakfast is good, but the menu is almost not updated. If you stop for a long time, then the kitchen can get boring. 3) There are no news channels from Russia on cable TV 4) There is no elevator. If you are young and full of energy, then there will be no problems. For people aged and with health problems, the climb will be quite tedious.

The Austin Hotel is excellent by 💯 points! Everything is fine here!!! The location is gorgeous, the view of Nizami Street (the most popular street, the noise did not bother at all, the windows are closed and comfort is provided). The hotel staff is a separate song 🎶☺️ the slightest whim was satisfied, towels were changed regularly, slippers were updated, even bed linen, smiles, responsiveness-extremely sincere.. I am delighted with Baku and Azerbaijan 😊!!!
P.S. The stairs did not bother at all (we lived on the top floor) ☺️

I recommend it to everyone) we visited Baku for the first time. Charmed) People are friendly, the flavor is special. We are happy to help everyone. Oriental "tricks", some non-necessity and negligence should be considered with humor and understanding. The East is a delicate matter. I still haven't figured out if it's the Caucasus or the East)

The hotel has one significant plus - an excellent location. The old town is a stone's throw away and the embankment.
But the hotel itself is very tired. Everything is clean, but very old - both furniture and repairs.
There is no elevator in the building. To climb to the 2nd floor of the hotel, you need to go through 6 (!) flights of stairs. For an amateur walk)
There are no bathrobes in the room. From cosmetics - shower gel and shampoo. They smell the same, they look the same. There are not enough towels.
Breakfast for 2. Instant coffee only. Buffet: tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, boiled eggs, two types of bread, butter. Maybe I missed something. But just no breakfast.
The girl at the reception is wonderful. Friendly, friendly, sympathetic. But she didn't save the situation, we moved after breakfast.

A good hotel on a shopping street, the central location is not to be found, it is very convenient if you come to Baku for a couple of days as a tourist
We lived on the top floor, in the evening it is beautiful to look at the brightly lit street, the breakfasts are normal
Cons that there is no elevator, sometimes after a stormy evening it was difficult to climb to your floor

A huge plus of the hotel is the location and the view from the balcony. There is no elevator. The interior is already shabby. Cleaned daily. Breakfast is monotonous (omelette, sausages, oatmeal porridge- edible, cheese, sausage slicing is just awful, there are dry snacks and milk)

Good location, but I do not advise you to stay more than one day! We wanted to live in it, but we went to the Sapphire Marina hotel for the same money! But the difference is huge ! Breakfast is not very sausages and boiled eggs! The room is dark and gloomy ! And of course it's not convenient without an elevator!!!
