We had a vacation with a friend in Aitara from August 13 to August 20, 2024. I liked the territory of the boarding house: beautiful trees, peacocks, ducks, clean and cozy. There are two cafes on site where you can spend the evening in pleasant company. We were well received, settled on the ground floor in building No. 1. The room is spacious and clean, but the smell of dampness and mold "killed" us. They asked to give us another room, as it was impossible to be among mold and dampness, allergies. There was also a smell in the room on the second floor, but less. We stayed on the second floor. The beds creak, they are terrible, the springs cut into the sides, the bathtub is old, the toilet lid bends and slides off. The first impression of visiting the dining room was good: there is a lot of everything, a varied menu. But on the third day of our stay, we no longer like the food: the compote is diluted, soups always have the same smell, very fatty, porridges on water, pastries are often stale. Everything that is not finished for breakfast is served for lunch or dinner. Soups, for example, were given at lunch and dinner. It's the same with pastries, once they are fresh, and once they are yesterday's. There is a lot of food, but the quality wants to be better. There are dances in the evenings, three times a week. Excursions are well organized. I would like to say a huge thank you to the guide Asmat. Historian, guide of the highest category. a wonderful tour of "Evening Sukhum", "Shrines of Eastern Abkhazia".
The sea is wonderful, especially in the morning. Clean and calm. The beach is not very clean, sticks, stumps, garbage. There is no shower, just a hose with cold water.
Be careful with seawater, do not swallow, do not rinse your nose. I grabbed the rotavirus. It was not very pleasant, everything hurt.

The territory is small, there are plantings, peacocks walk around the territory, a lot of peacocks! A fountain with fish. There is not even a photo, because there is something very beautiful on the territory...In the evenings, children's animation, adult disco!!! There are 2 cafes on site. There is a kiosk with drinks on site. There is a shop nearby, around the corner, you can pay with a card. There is a sauna on site for an additional fee. Not far from Mocha beach, it was +. Now - the sea is across the road, we pass through the underpass. The beach is not bad, there were enough sunbeds for everyone. Dining room 😔. There is something to compare it with, it could be better. The time and tables are not assigned to the guests. Sometimes there are not enough tables, you stand and wait.... The food is often cold, 1 microwave oven and it barely warms... There are not enough dishes, you stand and wait for a spoon, a mug... The food is delicious, the salads were sour a couple of times. Coffee and tea in the morning. At lunch, only ice compote... Tea in the evening. There was always enough food, if something is over, they immediately inform. But here everything is not tasty, bland, cold, cherished ... I will not go to Aitar, I will not recommend it to my friends.

We spent three days at the Aitar boarding house. A beautiful, beautiful place. But unfortunately, in recent years, the boarding house has changed for the worse. The territory used to be well-groomed, with many blooming flowers. this year it's kind of ragged, especially at the 2nd building. The wallpaper in the rooms of the 2nd building is dirty and torn. However, the bathroom was renovated. They write that the Internet works in all buildings, no. The Internet is only available on the ground floor of the 1st building. The food in the dining room is good, but there used to be amazing pastries, this year inedible buns. Wonderful, kind staff and the administration of the boarding house, you can solve any issue. SUGGESTIONS: Make selective meals in the 1st and 2nd buildings (for example, breakfast + dinner), equip the beach with children's entertainment, trampolines, water slides, etc., rent children's scooters, bicycles, strollers, etc. My score is 4 out of 5.

A very good boarding house. This is the place to return to.
The sea is very close. The beach is well maintained, which is very important. There is a clean toilet on the beach. There are rooms from economy to luxury class. There is a 3-course meal- buffet, there is no food. You can buy breakfast, lunch, and dinner separately. The food is excellent, very tasty. There are 2 restaurants on the territory, 2 canteens. Every day there are entertaining concerts on a well-equipped playground where you can watch and dance.
But the most important thing is the territory: an arboretum with different trees, peacocks, rabbits, ducks. The water in the decorative pools , all this creates a positive attitude. There is also a temple on the territory, and grace is in the temple!!! There is a grocery store, souvenirs, and a pharmacy on site.
The staff is very helpful, friendly, and always helpful. There is a lot to describe, I just RECOMMEND IT.

We had a rest in Aitara from June 10 to June 20, 2024. Economy class rooms were offered in the so-called third building, which actually turned out to be construction trailers, where everything inside was made according to the principle of “shit and sticks". Photos are attached.
Upon arrival, according to a neighbor, a cracked toilet was found, on which it was impossible to sit so as not to pinch your ass. After the scandal, the toilet was changed to an allegedly new one, but for some reason rust patches were visible on the rim. The toilet seat was fixed so that after a couple of days of use, the lid fell off.
During the stay in the room, 2 cockroaches were killed and some strange bug was found in the bed linen.
In the next room, one of our group's vacationers had a toilet bowl fall off. As they said, the mounting bolts are rusted. The bolts were purchased by the administration of the boarding house from the allocated funds. A local plumber demanded 2,000 rubles for screwing them in. Isn't it too much for fixing two bolts? It so happened that around this time in St. Petersburg, I called a plumber from the management company to unscrew and clean 2 coarse filters. In St. Petersburg, 500 rubles were officially paid for this.
There was furniture in the corridors of the “third building”, which was periodically brought into the rooms as needed upon arrival of guests. When the furniture was not needed, it stood in the hallway and yard cats and kittens rested on it.
Cleaning was done every day, but the staff could afford to start mopping the floors when the guests were in the room. You come out of the shower in a towel, and then they're moving around the room with a mop. And if people wanted to have sex in their hearts? There is no sense of tact at all.
The edge of the shower tray is not treated with sealant at all. There is a possibility that when taking a shower, water will get into the gap and flood the lower floor.
On the last or penultimate day, a puddle began to form on the floor. Judging by the location, freon was leaking either from the air conditioner or from the refrigerator. Remembering the epic with the toilet in the neighbor's “room”, they did not advertise the problem, so as not to be forced to pay for the repair of an antediluvian prehistoric air conditioner at the price of a new one.
Check out of the rooms at 10:00. While waiting for the transfer, we sat on a bench under a tree. I had to go to the communal toilet on the ground floor. The cranes are not fixed at all. They shake from touch. Sinks hang on snot with the risk of collapsing on the tile at any moment. It is not clear at all what the salaries of local plumbers are paid for.
From the positive. The beach is very close. The sun beds are free. The beach is being cleaned. When garbage is taken ashore after a storm, the wipers take it out very quickly.
There are 2 dining rooms on site (one of which is a buffet). 2 cafes with a fairly varied menu. A wide range of entertainment options. Animators are working. An instructor was engaged with teenage boys, showing self-defense techniques. There is a small bar on the beach where you can buy not only alcoholic beverages, but also ice cream and corn. Massage services are available. A sauna can be ordered.
They don't steal there. The smartphone, forgotten by a neighbor on the beach, was brought to the reception.
There is a convenience store where you can buy what you forgot to bring with you on a trip. As well as a small assortment of beach shoes and swimwear.
The rotovirus, which frightens St. Petersburg residents, was not detected during a trip to Abkhazia. You can safely drink water from drinking fountains.
There are several zones where wi-fi catches quite steadily and you can make a whatsapp call.
The boarding house is developing. There is another restaurant on the beach. New buildings are being built.
The overall impression of the trip is 3 with a minus.
Do I recommend it to my friends? Only for those who, financially and out of desperation, do not have the opportunity for other trips to the sea. In addition to the inconveniences with accommodation, until the airport was launched, it is very uncomfortable to get from St. Petersburg. 3 nights on a train in the heat is not something you wish on the enemy. By plane to Sochi, and then a transfer across the border is tough. And if the Abkhazians let them through with a whistle, then the Sochi border guards sometimes check cars for 4 hours from Russia. Meanwhile, passengers are sitting in a neutral zone in the heat, where it is not even possible to buy water. At some point, while waiting for the inspection of the minibus, the thought came to my mind that I was ready to give 500 rubles for a glass of ice cream right away.

Питание-хорошее, разнообразное, только из фруктов были одни яблоки. Все сытно, голодными не останетесь. Территория -очень красивые деревья и цветы, чисто, ухаживают. Как в маленьком ботаническом саду. Церковь на территории, настоящая, простая, не позолоченная, была на службе, слушала пение, водичка святая. Номера разные, есть эконом, есть улучшенные двухкомнатные и двухэтажные номера в коттеджах. У нас простой номер, скрипучий ламинат, вода есть м горячая и холодная большой балкон . И цена бюджетная, поэтому претензий нет. Пляж рядом, по подземному переходу, шезлонгов хватает на всех. Есть навесы, зонтики. Бесплатно . Проводится аквааэробика и творческие занятия для детей. Расположение отличное-центр Сухума близко 15 мин езды на автобусе. Рядом может метров 800 от пансионата можно поднять в горы и увидеть развалины крепости Баграта, отличная панорама на город. Атмосферное место. И слева от пансионата асфальтовая дорога и прекрасная природа, как в дебрях Амазонки.

We lived in Aitara, we liked it, especially for the child - entertainment events and discos. A boarding house with its own territory, where peacocks walk freely. Beautiful plants, there are signs with their names. 3 meals a day, you will not stay hungry. But, there is always a crowd of people, everyone is afraid not to have time to eat, because of this queue. Its beach is across the street, an underground passage leads to it. The sea is clean and warm. We swam both in the morning and in the evening at sunset. Aerobics is held on the beach for those who wish. Soviet-era rooms, a small bathroom, the room itself needs repair. But, it's not critical. The price / quality ratio is quite satisfactory. On the territory of the boarding house there is a small Orthodox church of St. George the Victorious, operating, services and baptisms are similar. There are also 2 cafes on the territory. 15 minutes by public transport - and you are in the center of Sukhum. Holidays in Aitara are good for families with children, older people. We liked it, we recommend it!

We really liked the Aitar boarding house. We rested here for 8 days. The beach is within walking distance. You can walk to the sandy Mocha Beach. Excursions are thought out, clearly organized. Prices are affordable. The food is varied, there are a lot of salads from vegetables, delicious meat dishes are prepared. Employees of the canteen serve young people quickly and quickly, there is enough for everyone. The territory is well maintained. The boarding house is what you need, for pennies and families with children (read more than one). The food is satisfactory. There was no rotovirus. The sea is across the street. There is a construction site on the beach. The territory is a botanical garden. There are 2 cafes on site. A restaurant on the shore, 3 shops, not counting a nook with beach accessories, peacocks and hindoos roam around in a masterly way, peacocks fly up on the canopy above the main entrance, it's funny. Discos for children and adults according to the schedule. Mocha beach is nearby, for fans of paid sunbeds with umbrellas and a bar on the shore. The beach is small gray pebbles, sandy next to the Mocha. To Sukhum there is a minibus 5 - 30₽ and a 2-ka bus 15₽. A taxi from the station is 400-300rubles, we were heated by as much as 600rubles. And so you can take a trolleybus 10₽ to the market, and from it by a 5-k minibus to Aitar, this is without suitcases on the light.

Good evening we lived in Aitara September 2024 marine corps , everything is at the highest level although I am a spoiled tourist , cleaning every day the towel was changed every 3 days but when asked to change the next day they changed without problems , we went to the main building to the dining room but there we were pleasantly surprised for 860 rubles buffet breakfast lunch dinner is quite varied and decent, it takes 5 minutes to get to the center of Sukhum. We often walked for 20 minutes and you are in the center, we have only positive impressions about this hotel, I recommend it to everyone!!!!

Итак, наша теперь «любимка» Айтар! Отдых «с душой»! Понравилось все: и место, где он расположен ( рядом море и сама территория и прекрасные окрестности с обалденной природой) и питание (всему персоналу ресторана - и поварам и девочкам официанткам огромное спасибо) и близость к Сухуму ( десять минут на маршрутке и вы в центре на красивой набережной) и да, как писали многие, хочешь иди танцуй на дискотеку, или посиди в двух кафешках на территории с абхазской кухней(а одном играет скрипач а в другом через день живая музыка) А можно просто посидеть на балкончике с бокалом Абхазского винца))) Да, «уставшие « номера. Но на это и не обращаешь внимания. И не стоит сравнивать этот отдых с с заграничными отелями. Это совсем другое…..это кайф! Уже ждём следующего лета, и конечно в Айтар!

I want to share my impressions about my vacation! (Rested 07.07-07/14/2024).
The road from Sukhum railway station to the boarding house takes about 15 minutes by taxi (taxi drivers meet at the train!) The cost, as agreed, is about 500 rubles.

Be prepared to pay 450 rubles in cash per person: 200 rubles tourist fee and 250 local medical insurance in case of serious injury or illness. The medical center in Aitara is free of charge.
We had a room in the second building on the third floor. Economy room without balcony. Two rooms! In the first room there is a refrigerator, two armchairs, a table, air conditioning. Very convenient: it's not blowing and it's cool! The second one has two beds, a wardrobe, two bedside tables, a TV. The beds have sockets. The bathroom is shared. There is a basin. A small clothes dryer.
Windows open, you need to try everything)
The bed is snow-white, on the fifth day a clean one was changed. Bath towels and face towels. There are no towels for feet and beach.
In the lobby on the floor there are lounge chairs, a kettle, an ironing board with an iron. There is no water cooler! Therefore, the kettle has to be taken to the room. By the way, there are two mugs in the room.
Daily cleaning!
We had a full board holiday. Buffet meals are served in the dining room. It's delicious and varied. We were pleasantly surprised by such variety and quality. There is a lot of food, it is constantly being brought. There is no children's menu for lunch and dinner. For breakfast there are two porridges, broth, cereals, milk, salads. For lunch, two soups, several side dishes, gravy, liver or stomachs, meatballs, cutlets, salads, greens. For dinner, it's about the same. Buns for breakfast and dinner. You can't describe everything - a lot of food!
The sea is across the road through the underpass. It takes 5-7 minutes from the room to the beach. Free sun beds, there are many of them
There are always free ones. There is a sapp (300 rubles. half an hour). Banana riding (500 rubles). Special thanks to Nikolai! He rides carefully and for a long time, swims in the open sea.
On the beach at 10 a.m. water aerobics. At 11 o'clock you can practice oriental dancing 200 rubles an hour, I recommend it!)
I want to describe the territory separately! It's a fairy tale! There are greenery, palm trees and many exotic plants all around. Peacocks are walking, Indian. The beauty is extraordinary. The territory is well maintained. Benches and recreation areas are everywhere.
There is a taxi at the checkpoint, you can get to the train station, arrange in the morning. There is also a transfer to Adler.
There is an Orthodox church in honor of St. George and a spring of holy water on the territory.

lived in the first building. The room is very ordinary, two single beds with sagging old mattresses. The bathroom didn't look good either, it was very small, the bathtub looked like it had been stripped after a bombing. It is difficult to turn around in the bathroom. The cleaning of the room was absolutely no, the garbage was taken out every day, but the floors were washed disgustingly, smearing dust and dirt on the parquet. In the bathroom, the floor was wiped only in the center, and dirt flourished in the corners and behind the toilet and near the sink. The food in the dining room is so-so, everything is delicious, products are cheap (heart, liver, chicken wings)
Minced meat in cutlets and pancakes is not tasty, sausages are not tasty. Only the porridges were more or less edible. From salads in the vegetable season, there is always a salad of cabbage, carrots and beets. They haven't given a tomato in 10 days. Of the fruits, only apples. From baking rolls of yesterday's baking and some kind of pie with an incomprehensible taste.
Now about the positive aspects and he is the only one - this is the Sea! Clean warm sea!

The territory is magnificent, the sea and nature are beyond competition, this is the best place for a relaxing holiday. Food for a good three. A wonderful and beautiful place, if you want to have a budget and have a good rest, then you should go there. The food is fine, the rooms are of course from the USSR, but you eat to relax by the sea, and not sit in the room. Evening Sukhum 500 rubles (beautiful embankment), thermal springs 800 rubles, will be brought and taken back to the boarding house, Chernihiv 950 guided tour + escort (tells everything perfectly and knows a lot) , a very beautiful place and a check-in at a mineral spring. On foot you can walk to the central embankment, the market and the Volna store. I can say there are a lot of pluses and small minuses in this place, but in general I am happy with the rest and would go there again. By the way, there is a beach with mono sand nearby.
