My sister, who lives in Aktau, Kazakhstan, urgently needed money to close the loan. We had a Freedom bank (Kazakhstan) card with a multi-currency account, including a ruble account (Russian rubles). We transferred the money to my sister's ruble account in the same bank. My sister went to the bank's office to withdraw the rubles received there from the account. But she was refused this, referring to the fact that there are allegedly no rubles, which causes great doubt. This bank has one of the lowest conversion rates (not profitable) rubles to tenge. They couldn't say when the rubles would appear in the bank either. It seems that the bank's employees are forcing customers to convert rubles at their very unfavorable exchange rate.

Now the card is blocked, the support service is removing the lock, but the card is not unblocked. Transfers to another bank are even worse. The issue has not been resolved for three weeks, the support service claims that it is only necessary to make small corrections to my personal data, but no one can make them. I've been calling every day for the last week, every time I hear "call me back in a couple of hours, the problem is about to be solved" and nothing changes. It is impossible to get to the management, and the support service only promises that the problem will be solved and you need to wait. Avoid this bank.
