We celebrated a birthday with a group of 10 people. We were generally satisfied with the visit, and for many years we have often ordered food delivery at this cafe. The banquet was carefully organized, the dishes were served at the agreed time in full, the administrator took into account all the wishes on the menu. The service and services of the bar were a little late, but perhaps this is due to the full seating in the hall. The menu covers the main taste preferences, we tried everything. I was most impressed with the hot appetizers, salads, and grilled dishes. Most of the pizzas are also quite tasty. The Japanese menu and desserts are not exciting. It is a special regret that tiramisu and fondue are no longer in the assortment, but these were your best desserts. We wish the owners of the establishment to install storage systems for water, which will make visiting the cafe even more comfortable for guests. Prices are lower than in a cafe of a similar category, with good quality dishes and a cozy interior. There is a discount for birthday parties.

It's a great place, I've been going for years, and I've seen how the staff has changed. I like everything, Konstantin is a great waiter, and the guys Artem and Maxim. Very nice and attentive guys. Recently, the situation has begun to strain, such that a woman (as I understand the admin) is constantly standing and watching, I don't understand why, but it's uncomfortable. And the place where you come to eat should be comfortable and should not be burdened by such questions. I hope this will be taken into account.

We recently came to this place and just fell in love with it! Very thoughtful and harmonious interior, delicious cuisine and excellent serving of dishes. I visited this place several times at different times of the day, ordered delivery. Good quality food, unlike other establishments. I took hot snacks, different ones, already by them it can be determined that the oil changes regularly. The service is on the level - the waiters Daria, Konstantin, Valeria clearly show what service is. The courier of the establishment was also as polite as possible, but I forgot to ask him his name. The waiting time is short, 10-15 minutes in the hall, 30 minutes delivery. Waiters, cooks, and couriers are trying their best. It's nice to be in an institution where everyone is doing their job well. Thank you so much for the delicious food and a pleasant time

I recently visited the ”Basil" and was completely delighted! This place was a real discovery for me. The atmosphere in the establishment is very pleasant and cozy, which immediately creates the mood for a great evening. The menu was pleased with the variety: here you can find dishes of Italian and Japanese cuisine, as well as fast food. I was especially impressed by the pizza “Capricciosa” – thin, soft dough, delicious sauce and ham. I also tried the Osaka rolls, which turned out to be interesting to the taste. The service was polite and unobtrusive, which added to the positive impressions of the visit. In general, the pizzeria Basil has left behind only positive emotions. I will definitely come back here again and recommend it to my friends and acquaintances. Thanks for a great evening!

We were insanely dissatisfied! We came to lunch for lunch, we were limited in time. We were specifically asked about the cooking time for two hot portions, we were told 10-15 minutes, so we received our dish in 40 minutes, although 2 tables were occupied in the hall. We decided to order pizza for pickup, we were told that 1.30 was needed to prepare 3 pizzas, we arrived 1.45 later for our order. The administrator could not find our order for 10 minutes and after that, it was announced to us that our order would be ready in another 1 hour. Our order hasn't even been prepared yet. Neither the cafe administrator nor the call center could warn us that our order was delayed. When visiting the cafe, the administrator was able to justify that "full boarding, we are not in time." After that, we refused our order and called the call center with a request to connect us with the people responsible for working with pickup orders, but no one called us back. Apparently, the cafe has a fast food operating mode and they don't care about your time. If you are limited in time or you have an event planned for a certain time, definitely do not contact this institution, value your time and nerves.

We visited the "Basil" with my husband yesterday and today.We really liked the menu, where there are photos of dishes, a good assortment, the atmosphere is pleasant, cozy and beautiful. We tried almost all alcoholic cocktails), beautiful presentation, interesting in taste. Of the food, we appreciated the Salad with spinach and seafood,mussels in cheese sauce, solyanka, salmon steak is very tasty!Respect to the chefs!The waiters are unobtrusive, smiling.There are fresh flowers on the tables. I honestly don't understand why there are so many positive reviews.… I was choosing between a trusted place nearby and this one. I fell for the reviews. The verified place has a rating of 4.6, but basil is actually not worth it. From the cons in order: 1. Basement, the setting is like in a good dining room, but not like in a cafe, with the prices of an average restaurant. 2. Poor ventilation (the hall smells of food). Regarding food: 1. Cappuccino is like in a cheap vending machine. It's also rancid 2. Caesar with chicken can be eaten. The only thing is, the sauce is made with herring and not anchovies. And in large quantities, because there is a very distinct taste of herring. 3. Chicken broth (aka homemade noodles). The broth is medium rich, but I didn't like the taste of the chicken itself, it's kind of specific (not not fresh, just the taste is strange). Carrots are grated like on a Korean salad, and as for me, they don't belong there at all. 3. Carbonara paste. Instead of bacon, there's a brisket, and it's cut into bars. The pasta has a lot of sauce and is very salty (probably because of the smoked brisket). 4. Mussels for baked with tobiko. In general, they are ordinary. You can eat, but not really. In general, I ate like in a regular dining room, at the price of a restaurant. Not impressed at all. Will I come back? Definitely NOT.

The pizza is delicious, but the service is lame. This is not the first time we order pickup, the operator promptly confirms the order and says that it will be ready within an hour. However, in fact, the order is ready for delivery no earlier than 1.5 hours later. At the same time, the administrator, after an hour, asks to wait 15 minutes, and then another 15, and then the answer follows that she does not know when the order will be ready. So, if you don't want to stay hungry, order in advance, about three hours in advance.

I never thought that I would end up in such a terrible place as the Basil Cafe. At first, we were greeted by an incompetent waitress, Alina, who could not answer the simplest questions about the menu. We ordered pizza and salad, and waited for them forever! When the food finally arrived, the pizza was cold, and the salad looked like it had been made yesterday. The service left much to be desired: the waiters were impolite and did not pay attention to us. I tried to get their attention, but they just walked by as if we were invisible. In addition, the atmosphere in the cafe was extremely unpleasant: loud music and constant noise from the kitchen. I couldn't enjoy lunch, and to be honest, I'll never go back to Basil again. If you are looking for a good place to relax, I definitely do not recommend this cafe!

I have been visiting this cafe for the third time, I like the spacious bright veranda, the music is unobtrusive, the waiters are polite and efficient, courteous and attentive (not every cafe in Donetsk will find such service). Long service time. Once we sat with a girl for 40 minutes, and they didn't even accept our order. We got up and left. The staff did not draw any conclusions. Today we arrived six months later, everything is stable. The order was accepted half an hour later. We wait 40 minutes for food. They asked for tea to be served after the main courses, along with cheesecake, tea was served immediately, it cools down... The chicken quesadilla was served 45 minutes later. A huge family arrived 10 minutes after us, they took the order in a matter of minutes and served the pizza 20 minutes later. In general, not a foot in here anymore. You can still order delivery, there are really delicious dishes, but the service is not a big deal. It shouldn't be like this. And prices have doubled in six months. And also the disgusting music in the room itself.

I like the quality control after the order. Once they brought a pizza with a raw cake. The next time we ordered, we sent pizza for free as an apology. In the cafe on Artyom, there is a children's room and a beautiful hall, thematically decorated. I recommend 👍 P.S. Upon opening them at home, they immediately saw that something was wrong with the rolls, they were crooked, the fish was pale, almost white and there were very few of them. When they tried, there was no limit to their disappointment. The rice was overcooked, the fish was sour and tasted like fish and smelled unpleasant. The rolls were terrible, as if they had been cooked a week ago, and they were standing in a warm place, waiting for someone to order them. After calling the basil and complaining about the disgusting quality of the food, the operator apologized and said that he would inform the administration and contact us. No one called back the next day. I highly do not recommend this place to anyone.
