It's a very beautiful place! We got there at sunset, the views are fabulous. You just need to be careful when building a route. The navigator leads to the foot of the hill where the church stands. You can't park there by car, and it's a bit difficult to drive in a passenger car. You need to put a point with your hands on the other side. We took the wrong route, and in the end we had to walk in circles until we found an uphill climb, and then we had to climb through a fence to get to the church.

The Bedia Cathedral is one of the farthest points of the tourist route in Abkhazia. Nevertheless, even if you are not a Christian pilgrim, I recommend visiting this sacred place at least once in your life!
Despite the fact that the building has been in a deplorable state for a long time, and the Bedi Cathedral is not officially operational, people still come! This is one of the few places where it feels like Heaven is within reach and you can talk directly to your Father!

It's an amazing place. The cathedral is more than 1000 years old, but it has been preserved very well, frescoes remain on top. My favorite place in Eastern Abkhazia.
