It was necessary to pay the fine closer to 22.00 on Saturday (02/22/2025), I needed a piece of paper (it was impossible to pay online) and two passports with me (who to pay for and who pays). They advised me to go to the Minsk hotel - there is a 24-hour bank branch there. I went in, and the guards politely showed me where to go. I went up to the girl - she was on the phone, waited for her to finish, then I asked if the fine could be paid, and she looked at me with such wild contempt (in the spirit of why did you come here, who are you, what do you need, get out of here). I somehow didn't even understand what to do, then I handed over two passports, and she told me to guess which passport to apply for (also with wild contempt!!). Fortunately, she squeezed out that there was another branch of Belarusbank nearby until 22.00, where I managed to get there. I quickly ran to another branch, paid for everything quickly and without any problems. I don't know what I did to deserve this attitude, whether the girl believed that her job was only to serve rich hotel guests, or whether her job was only currency exchange, not payments... But I have never encountered such an attitude in Minsk. And the contrast is strong - the guards are such polite professionals, and the Belarusbank branch has such an attitude... (there have never been any problems in other branches).
