Unfortunately, the White Cottage itself is under reconstruction. It's surrounded by a fence, it doesn't even really fit. But there is a very interesting park around. It is not at all gentrified, but the landscape is interesting and huge old huge oaks grow. In general, despite the desolation, it is a very atmospheric place
