We chose the hotel based on reviews.
Of the advantages :
- there are Russian-speaking employees.
-located in an area with a lot of attractions.
That's all, the cons :
- breakfast is the same every day ; it is no longer possible to eat on day 4-5
- We were told that we have an economy, but for the sake of a review they will give a better room-> as a result, the room is terrible, the creaking staircase seemed to be in the room;
- the light wasn't working
-WiFi did not work (at the same time, the building where the reception and breakfasts worked perfectly)
- the room is dirty, especially under the bed, behind the wardrobe
-the wires are on a good word, thank God there was no short circuit;
- the room was in a building that looked like a utility room;
As a result, the tour operator could not change the hotel, I had to live here, it's good to just spend the night.

We were in February 2024. The hotel is cozy, clean, in the historical center of the city, within walking distance from the main attractions. There is a grocery store within a two-minute walk. The rooms are cozy, the furniture is old, but everything is clean and working. The water is hot. We were pleasantly surprised by the room service in the hotel of this price category: daily room cleaning, linen change every other day, without requests and reminders. Internet in standard class rooms is stable, in economy rooms (in another building) there were interruptions. Otherwise, the economy and standard class rooms do not differ much. It's quiet at night, except for the azan of two large mosques nearby, but we even liked it. I can't appreciate the breakfasts, they didn't take them. Very friendly Russian-speaking staff, it is clear that they are trying for visitors, you can contact them with any questions. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation! I recommend it to everyone.

A great, small, cozy little hotel.
Not an ordinary design, a friendly host, and although many things are clearly tired and require just putting your hands on, all this pays off with some kind of comfort, the care of the owner.
They asked me to advise them where to have dinner in the evening, took me to a restaurant with a view of the blue mosque and an average price, but the view was priceless, they also made a discount, passing by they would not even have guessed that there was a terrace. Another day we went the wrong way, caught up, explained that we did not go straight but to the left, looked at the map and really would not have to go straight. They asked for an iron and immediately provided everything.
Breakfast at the hotel is also on the roof-track, the coffee machine works around the clock, but one evening we came and started the ten with tea ourselves and had a great cup of tea with an evening view, then naturally cleaned and washed after ourselves, but there is also a kettle in the room.
I recommend this small cozy hotel to everyone, who does not have big requests will be satisfied.

A very good hotel in this category. I arrived on an excursion, I only needed to spend the night. The rooms are clean, I had a standard (they said on the 1st floor), but they settled on 2 with balconies. The linen is clean, the towels are good. The colorful interior just amazed me, it is the most for the greater effect of the historical part of Istanbul. The breakfasts are modest, portioned. Coffee shop with delicious coffee. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace, even the Bosphorus is slightly visible. The windows on the terrace, however, would not hurt to wash) At the reception, a Russian-speaking girl Olesya (already calmer somehow), the man also understands a little Russian. The street is narrow, the transfer did not take you directly to the hotel itself. The sights are nearby, everything is very close. (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome Square...) I turned on the navigator only if I went far away. There is an embankment nearby. There are many cafes and shops. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart!

I didn't like anything except the location... An economy room is the most economical... Firstly, it is located in the basement, with a very, very small window, there is no TV in the room. During all 4 days of arrival, no cleaning was done, only once the garbage was collected. The kettle is very dirty, when I contacted the administrator about the kettle, it was simply removed and not replaced with a clean one. I didn't like the dining room... It's uncomfortable, dirty, and the breakfasts are very meager. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, they do not really appreciate their guests here.. I am surprised by the positive reviews... There is little positive in this hotel.

We booked the room, economy a few months before the trip, upon arrival it turned out that we could not immediately be settled in economy, they offered to live in a standard room, and if we want to leave it, we need to pay 25 euros per day, we refused, we said we would move to economy, but apparently there was no room and we were left in The standard is free!
The room was not bad, the WiFi works well, the location is not bad, but the positive emotions ended there.
A dog lives in the hotel, the first night she barked at our window (room on the ground floor), the second night the lights were turned off and the sensor apparently worked, and we listened to a nasty signal at 4 a.m. for about an hour, the third night this cute dog was left in the lobby, as it started raining outside, the dog woke up and naturally wanted to to leave at 5 a.m., we had to get up and let her out.
Since we have a late flight, we apparently asked the hostess (a Russian-speaking blonde) about extending the room until 20:00, she announced the cost of 50 €.
We went to the booking office and found a hotel nearby (Emirhan inn Apartment) for $ 30, and were even more upset that we chose Berce for our vacation.
In the new hotel we were given a large two-room room on the 3rd floor.

If you have the opportunity to choose another hotel, use it. The hotel is very bad, if you read more, then here are the pros and cons. Don't believe the positive reviews, I was hoping for them too)
Advantages: convenient location within walking distance from the main attractions and public transport stops. That's it!
Minuses:
1. Dirty room, with old furniture and ancient plumbing. There was hot water twice in the evening, on the rest of the days I had to contact the workers and wait for them to set up.
2. Bathroom mirror, shower doors, tile, shelf - very dirty and streaked, foreign hair, disgusting to touch.
3. The hair dryer was with a clump of someone else's hair and a lump of dust, it looked creepy
4. DIRTY towels, almost all with orange spots
5. A hole in the ceiling at the place where the chandelier is attached, dirty yellow curtains
6. There is not a single bottle of drinking water in the room (this can be survived, unlike dirt)
7. Breakfast is very ascetic and tasteless, in portions for each: 1 boiled egg, 3 slices of tomato and cucumber, several pieces of inedible sausage and sausages, salted Feta, 1 tiny cookie and the same tiny piece of chocolate cake (tasteless). Drinks include tea and coffee. The delicious ones are fresh white bread and edible flakes.
8. Breakfast takes place on the terrace, where the roof flows heavily in the rain, the workers themselves slip on them. Nobody wipes puddles)
9. Wi-Fi is weak, sometimes it didn't work at all.
10. The audibility is terrible, you can hear everything - conversations, how someone washes and flushes the toilet.
11. Well, the cherry on the cake was at the very beginning, when we arrived to check in, and the hotel was empty, there was no one at the reception))) only the cleaning lady, who didn't know what to do with us. And this is in the middle of the day.

A very cozy Ottoman-style hotel in the heart of the old town. A gorgeous terrace overlooking the sea, where breakfast is served. The historical sights of Aya Sofia, Top Kapy, Sultan Akhmet are just a step away from the hotel. There is a wonderful girl at the reception, Alesya, friendly, caring. Everything is great!

Let's just say I'm not going back there anymore.The photos do not correspond to reality.The rooms can be damp, some have terrible broken furniture, leaking walls and washed linen, the breakfasts are meager and cold.The location is fine, but there is even better.It is high time for the owner to make repairs and update the furniture.With us, some guests left on the day of arrival.In general, we wish prosperity to this hotel!

Останавливались здесь в апреле 2023 года. Уютный, хороший отель. Очень удобное расположение, в историческом центре района Султан Ахмед. Чистые номера, гигиенические принадлежности пополняли каждый день,кровати удобные.Отдельно хочу отметить работу персонала. Особенно сотрудника по имени Абдулкадир, за быстрое решение всех вопросов и хорошее настроение. Рекомендую!

The worst that can happen! The hotel ruined the WHOLE impression of Istanbul. If you want to spoil the impression of the city, check in with this hotel! The hotel has two buildings. All the photos show a good one. In reality, they settle in a homeless shelter. At the same time, the hotel is completely empty.
The number is dead in the trash, it's the worst I've ever seen. No one has cleaned the room in two days.

Absolutely bad. In Turkey, you can not stay in 3* and Berke hotels - another confirmation of this. A room in the basement, terribly damp, with... a scorpion as an oriental exotic. I am generally silent about furniture and plumbing. And it cost more than a decent hotel in Prague. The manager, he is also the owner from the category of "gently lays, but hard to sleep." The cherry on the cake was that the room had never been cleaned in 5 days. The included breakfast is relatively edible. It is better to go to Rabbit's hole cafe for breakfast.

Хороший отель, расположен на тихой улице рядом с основными достопримечательности. Приветливый русскоговорящих персонал Номер с 2 балконами, удобная кровать. Вот только каждую ночь в 4.30 из мечетей зовут на молитву. Завтрак без изысков, но довольно сытный.

Guys, there are just no words - to say that this is a homeless person is not to say anything.
If you can imagine the most boring motel anywhere on the highway in the Russian outback - it will seem to you like a luxury resort compared to this dump. It looks like some kind of quest- everywhere is dirt, mold, falling apart furniture, lack of repair, falling out sockets, dirty linen and mattresses, etc.
I don't understand who writes at least a little bit of good reviews?!!

Ужасный отель! Поддерживаю отзыв об ужасности отеля! Впервые столкнулась с таким кошмаром! Персонал ужасный! В номере нет сил положить зубную пасту с щеткой на полку. , так как противно это сделать, все пошарпаное, вода едва теплая. К номеру на второй этаж ведет ужасная винтовая лестница, по которой сложно подниматься, а спускаться страшно. Завтрак в отеле есть невозможно, так как это и не шведский стол и не континентальный. Каждому положена тарелка, на которой: отвратные пару кружочков сосиски, один кусочек колбасы, одно вареное яйцо, три кубика Феты, вместо сливочного масла маргарин, три тонких слайда огурца и помидора, кусочек кекса и отвратное печенье! Люди, бегите отсюда и обходите это место стороной!!!!

Отличный самый дешевый отель в районе, по сервису все превышает ожидания!!! очень приятная атмосфера, приятные люди, говорят на русском, все выгодное советуют, говорят где дорого где дешево. Если не знаете где остановиться - это будет лучшим вариантом. Очень чисто, невероятно мягкие матрасы, спали как убитые 🤤

Nice, clean, new plumbing, towels were changed every other day. We slept peacefully at night, the noise did not interfere, there were no mosquitoes, (we were poisoned with something from a car that drove around the house, with a siren))))))). For the hotel 5+, the breakfasts are of course terrible, cold, on a plate, for breakfast 2.

Плюсы - русскоговорящий менеджер, вкусные завтраки, близко от основных достопримечательностей и Босфора, низкая цена.
Минусы - поселили в другое здание - отель Aruna (то ли потому что было сыро на цокольном этаже, то ли потому что я просила номер с окном, а в Berce свободных номеров с окном не было. Двери не закрывались на ключ, на этаже шел ремонт, было грязно, меня искусали постельные клопы.

Худший отель из всех в моей жизни, хоть и русскоговорящий персонал, но отношение к клиентам после оплаты ужасное, оплатили номер через Яндекс путешествия, отзывы были хорошие и фото нормального отеля, по приезду были просто шокированы, возврат естественно делать не будут, потому что «у них такие правила» по их мнению бомжатник в котором мы отказались жить является нормальным номером. Вообщем честный отзыв, поверьте вам же будет лучше если обойдете этот мусор стороной. Здесь в округе большое количество хороших отелей, пройдитесь и выберете лучший за те же деньги.

Небольшой отель, во время завтрака можно смотреть на развалины и море. Рядом с Ак-Софией. Проблема с подъездом на машине, особенно утром когда в магазинах выгружают товар.

Тихое, уютное, чистое место, очень вежливый персонал и владелец
Шаговая доступность как до мичети, так и до моря
Приехали вечером, без брони, нам тут же подобрали очень не плохой номер еще и цена весьма хорошая
В общем очень рекомендую!
