I recently became the owner of my first snowboard. I bought it second-hand. The previous owner said that it was necessary to apply paraffin and this would be enough for comfortable riding. I found this store. Arrived.
The employee insisted that it was also necessary to remove rust from the edges and seal the scratches on the slide with some special substance. As a person who does not understand anything about this, I agreed, and paid 30 rubles for these services. I took my snowboard a week later and went for a ride. And what did I see there? Everything, absolutely all the scratches remained in place. I had a photo of the snowboard before the service. so, after one ride, the snowboard looked the same as before. They just put paraffin on me and that's it. At home, I also carefully examined the edges. It's funny, but there was rust. What is the result?
I was promised: to repair deep scratches, remove rust, treat the slip with paraffin.
We did it: we treated the slip with paraffin.
30 rubles for the treatment of a slip with paraffin is too much.
An employee took advantage of my knowledge gaps and charged 30 rubles for a service that costs a maximum of 5 rubles. I do not recommend this place and do not set foot there myself anymore.
If you want a high-quality service, look for another place.
