А у нас в г. Южно-Сахалинск есть улица М.А. Пуркаева. Я сам в этом селе родился 3.10.1949 года. Так что это мой земляк. Сейчас сам живу в Южно-Сахалинке. А вообще на Сахалине много людей из Мордовии проживают, даже есть так называемый мордовский посёлок Они по большей части прибыли сюда после войны по вербовке в 1950 году.
