Very good guides and attentive, friendly staff.
I liked the paintings, furniture, dishes, weapons...
With great love, the museum is being collected bit by bit and restored to preserve the memory of its famous countrymen.

This museum impressed me with its atmosphere and rich collection. Historical exhibits and architecture create a unique sense of immersion in the past. I learned a lot about Georgian history and culture. The impressions were the warmest and most memorable.

If you happen to be in Zugdidi, be sure to visit this museum. The collection is amazing, all the exhibits can be viewed perfectly! To be honest, I did not expect such a level. It is better to take a guide, for the price is not very expensive.

We were passing through Zugdidi, we went to the palace. The palace is pretty, the interior and exhibits are good. Of course, it doesn't make much sense to go on purpose, but you can look in passing.

A huge territory, neatly trimmed gardens, fountains, a small church, I managed to visit one building, and this, of course, is the scope and luxury, everything is well preserved, it is allowed to take pictures! It's just worth coming and taking a walk in the park and taking an excursion to the palace.

A small beautiful palace in the European style. Entrance is paid, GEL 5. There are several furnished rooms inside. Furniture, paintings, interior items and kitchen utensils. There is a beautiful well-maintained park outside.

I recommend visiting the Dadiani Museum. In the museum you can see a large collection of weapons from different times. There are many Christian art facts, and of course the household utensils of this palace of that era. It's a pity that for tourists the cost is twice as expensive.

The palace itself is also beautiful, it has a museum. And the park around it, and the botanical garden is wonderful, albeit slightly neglected.
And Zugdidi itself is a very cozy, pretty city.

It's an amazing, amazing place. I've been there many times, and every time it's like the first time. In summer, after the sweltering heat, it is simply bliss to walk through such a beautiful place. It is a 30-minute drive from Zugdili to the sea. 😊

The staff is terrible. Just terrible. The caretakers demonstrate with their whole appearance that visitors are interfering with their lives and should feel guilty. The charming manner of shouting from hall to hall is especially memorable and makes the greatest impression when visiting.

The palace is very modest, a little neglected from the outside. If you are passing through Zugdidi, you can take a look. There's no point in going on purpose for him

In the Georgian city of Zugdidi there is a Georgian landmark that preserves its original history and has become the pride of the whole city. This is the Dadiani Palace, the residence of the Megrelian rulers of the Dadiani family. The palace is full of treasures, among which the most valuable is considered to be the death mask of Napoleon. But how was this French relic connected with the Georgian land? The fact is that the Dadiani princes were distantly related to Napoleon, it is for this reason that many relics associated with the great French commander passed here.
Until 1918, the Dadiani Palace in Zugdidi served as the residence of the Dadiani rulers. The palace consisted of two buildings — the first was built in 1878 for Princess Catherine, and the second for her son, Nikolai Dadiani.
As a result of the Russian-Turkish wars, the Megrelian Principality was abolished in 1866, and the residence remained at Dadiani's disposal.
The Dadiani Palace today houses a museum founded back in 1849. Among the valuable exhibits are medieval weapons, an icon of the mother of Queen Tamara, a golden antique mask and some other items related to the life of the Dadiani family. And, of course, the culmination of the collection is one of the 3 death masks of Napoleon Bonaparte.
If you have time, you should also visit the beautiful park area of the palace, the best European gardeners worked on its creation. Many rare plants collected from different parts of the world grow here — a botanical garden is organized on the territory of the park.
