We decided to drink sparkling wine in the shade of the legendary Grandfather Oak. We followed the navigator along the route of the Electron campsite - Berestie sanatorium - Dedov Oak. We stopped for a rest several times during the day. As a result, the iPhone was lost. The locals who met in the forest turned out to be unfriendly, they did not want to show the way to the Oak Tree, they threw cones. They did not respond to our repeated comments. And it was only thanks to the skills of young trackers acquired during the years of ardent pioneer youth, along the path of acorns scattered from the hollow of a squirrel to the Grandfather's Oak, that we managed to discover this giant. The impression is amazing, despite the darkness. Of course, there wasn't enough time and supplies anymore. Tired but satisfied, guided by the stars, we set out on our way back. Looking ahead, our absence from the campsite was discovered, and experienced tourists with lanterns were walking towards us in a chain, whose guttural cries we initially mistook for wild animals. We concluded for ourselves that next year we need to take more supplies on a hike, and, of course, large coils of rope so that no one wanders in different directions at the campsite. It is advisable to equip the route to the Grandfather Oak with reflective signs.

The tree is beautiful, but the road to it is terrible, remote, through the forest. The place is not gentrified, but it's a pity, it could be done very beautifully.
