This, of course, was our last trip by buses of the ECOLINES carrier (TUP "BUS TOUR")! We were traveling at the end of July 2021 on the Minsk — Bialystok route. The bus was double–decker and had two luggage compartments, the first at the bottom of the bus and the second at the back of the bus (consisting of three or four horizontal shelves).
Our luggage for two consisted of two small bags and one suitcase. The suitcase and bags were placed in the luggage compartment by the drivers, they also said that the things that go to Bialystok should be placed in the compartment at the back of the bus. During the trip, things were not taken out of there.
Upon arrival in Bialystok, the driver opened the luggage compartment and my bag fell from the top shelf to the ground. As a result, the recently purchased vacuum cleaner that was in it broke down, now it is no longer possible to use it. In addition, the new suitcase was badly scratched.
ECOLINES responded to my claim that, in accordance with their rules, which we a priori agreed with when we bought the tickets, the carrier does not assume responsibility for minor or superficial damage to checked baggage.
The carrier also recommended that we insure items of special value. I want to clarify, in turn, that a vacuum cleaner is not of great value, but when putting things in the luggage, no one expects that bags will fall from a height of about two and a half meters on the asphalt (and this happened because things were poorly packed in the luggage compartment by the carrier's employees - drivers).
In addition, the bus was almost five hours late (arrival on the ticket is indicated at 4.00, actually arrived at about 9.00), but the carrier is also not responsible for this.

The bus on the Minsk - Moscow route was clean, arrived exactly on schedule. The drivers were polite and careful. The only thing was, it was a little hot at the end of the bus (with 40 rows). So if possible, choose seats at the beginning of the salon. On the downside , there was no water or tea on the bus . There were 3 sanitary stops where you can buy all this. But it took up extra time .

I bought tickets on the Belarusian carrier's website from Tallinn to Minsk. The trip was refused due to the lack of a PCR test. The information on the site about this is hidden so that not everyone will find it. There is a warning posted on the main page of the Estonian website. A week before the trip, I consulted with the operator. They said that everything is without problems. There is no limit to the indignation. I will sue!
