The zoo (Faruk Yalçın Zoo and Botanic Park) is inconveniently located, far from normal transport. In particular, it is about 2.5km from Marmaray.
There is no official price list for non-citizens of the TR, on 10/23/24 they took a "crazy" 1300 rubles per person, accounting for sold "tickets" is on a piece of paper, there are no normal tickets, as in all such establishments, there is no booklet with a plan scheme.
According to the residence permit, they were "sold" according to the weekend price list. Everything that is indicated on the site is valid only for Turkish citizens, and documents are regularly "shoved" at the turnstile, only those who have left the cash register are allowed to pass without problems.
The animals are mostly behind glass and metal mesh, with the exception of donkeys, ponies, goats, giraffes, rhinoceroses. As always, there are broken sections.
The territory and aviaries are clean and tidy, which pleases.
Due to the rugged terrain and the organization of passages to the enclosures, the time of visiting the zoo easily tends to 3 hours.

It was written that there was an elephant , a lion, a panther in the zoo, but we went around the whole park and their cages were empty. But what is critical - for which the estimate is reduced - is the price. What is written on the official website is an outright lie, because the ticket price is relevant only for Turkish citizens. On a weekday, they had to pay more than a thousand lire for a ticket, which is not indicated anywhere.

The zoo is small. It's better to come around 11 o'clock. After 13 o'clock, there are a lot of people, everyone is walking around with priests, they don't really look at anything. We walked around in 1.5 hours slowly. The cost is 1,625 liras for 2 adults and 1 child 6 years old. You will only be able to see the animals through a high fence, a grid or an observation glass (which are mostly all broken in cracks). The enclosures are relatively clean, but small. One-time visits are fine, but I do not advise you to go on purpose, there is a via marina port nearby, it is better and cheaper there.
