If you are a guest of the city and want somewhere culturally :) To spend an evening, it's a very good choice, don't look at my 3 stars! 3 stars because it's not a big theater at all! There is no splendor of the opera house with gold and crystal, the level of productions is also not comparable. The National Opera Building is a modern Scandinavian-style building (simple and nothing superfluous), with huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The hall has excellent acoustics, you can clearly see and hear from any place. By the way, I really liked the opera "Madame Butterfly", I even shed a tear, and the ballet "Sleeping Beauty". But don't go to Cinderella for anything :). Tickets can be purchased on the official website, it is better in advance, they are usually sold out at 0. Discounts are available for young people, children and pensioners. And in general, tickets are quite expensive - at least 100 euros. It is also important to note that for Finns, the theater always starts with a buffet, it's true! And during the intermission, everyone also rushes to the buffet for coffee or champagne with a pie or sandwich. There are many tables here, and a pre-order service is provided to avoid queuing during the intermission. The prices are quite high.
