Yesterday I was paying for utilities at a bank branch. I usually pay online or by mail, but yesterday, it so happened, I decided to pay at the bank. So I didn't know what exactly was waiting for me. When I entered the first branch, I received a coupon, where it was written that 111 customers were ahead of me. Naturally, I went to another department. The queue was 20-25 people and I decided to go down to the Heroes of WWII Square 7, because I knew that there was another department there. Although I was warned in the queue not to go, because there is terrible service. I thought that I would suffer terrible service once, since I had to pay the utilities. I also thought that if the queue is large, I will go to the post office, since there was no way to pay online. There was a queue of 4 people in this department and I stayed in the department. I got to the checkout after 1 hour and 15 minutes. It was just unimaginable. Moreover, the people ahead of me also paid for communal services. That is, it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to punch 4 checks at the cashier. Although, it's fair to say that a woman passed out of turn (just ahead of me), with a bundle of money, some kind of cashier's girlfriend, with whom they were slowly and pleasantly chatting, depositing funds into the cash register. After that, the curtain in front of my face closed and a re-accounting was announced. People who waited an hour and a half in the queue after me were told that the reception was suspended until a recalculation was made. The cashier called me "madam" and rudely shouted at me to move away from the cash register. I know for sure that there was a man in line behind me who needed to transfer funds from account to account. It's just that everything happened before my eyes and I remembered his story. A female consultant advised him to withdraw money from an ATM and deposit it in the cash register. He withdrew the money (a large sum), then sat in line for an hour and a half. And then, in front of his nose, a recount was announced. Thus, a person with a very large amount was forced to leave the bank and look for where he could deposit funds to the account. Thus, the cashier of the bank arbitrarily put this person in danger.
The fact that I waited an hour and a half in total, was insulted, also came out sideways to me. I was taking time off from work and all my future plans were disrupted. Insults from an unpleasant rude woman were also unexpected. If I went to a pub where there are boozers and drunks, I wouldn't be offended. But I came to the bank to pay for communal services. Review your employee requirements. A bank employee should at least be able to talk to customers. There was also a cashier in the second cash register, but she just blocked the window and did not accept.
