I went to Istanbul for the first time for 3 days, but in the end I stayed for 5.
I really liked the hotel. Convenient location: in 5-7 minutes there is the Yenikapi metro station and 2 tram stops Aksaray and Laleli University. The Blue Mosque is just 2 tram stops away.
The room was well cleaned. Friendly staff. The staff at the reception speak Russian, they tell us everything (where to eat, change money, how to get there and where to go better), I took a tour of Istanbul from them on the first day, the prices are the same as everywhere else.
When I checked in, I was offered 2 rooms to choose from: on the first floor with a double bed and on the sixth with two small ones. I chose the sixth one, because I was captivated by the view from the window (even the Marmara Sea is visible in the distance) and it's quieter there. Due to the fact that the hotel is located in a shopping area, the noise from the street can be heard in the room, so if you are a light sleeper, I advise you to stock up on earplugs. The noise didn't bother me.
I had heard about the bad wi-fi in Istanbul before the trip, but in Grand Madrid it broke the system and exceeded all expectations, and was the main reason why I decided to stay there for another 2 days. I was able to work 6-7 hours online without network interruptions. And for work, I had conferences in zoom, for which I needed a good Internet connection. In general, the Internet has a straight +100 rating.
The restaurant with a magnificent view is the next strong point of this hotel. The first day I came to breakfast, I couldn't get enough of this view. There is a terrace. The breakfasts are monotonous, but delicious. And frankly, I've been eating the same breakfast every day at home for several years, so I definitely won't write down a monotonous breakfast as a minus. There's a separate like for halva, it just melts in your mouth.
Of the disadvantages, I can only mention the noise from the street and sometimes there were conversations in the hallway. In general, the sound insulation is weak. This may be a problem for some, but it wasn't for me. And as someone wrote, the motion sensor in the bathroom works for 10 seconds after the first turn on and turns off, you need to wave and then it works without interruptions.
But that's if you find fault too much. It didn't bother me.
In general, I recommend the hotel 100%, and if I go to Istanbul again, I will stay with them again.
