A magnificent monument of 15th century Ottoman architecture. It includes a mausoleum and a building for pilgrims. The walls are covered with greenish colored tiles from the inside, hence the name. Wonderful marble carvings. The mosque is located on an elevation above the city center, with a great view from the site. The climb to it is steep, but not long.

We visited this mosque in early February, walked to it, it's not difficult to find it, it's just going up from the center all the time. Maybe I was expecting something more grandiose, but this is a really beautiful and cozy mosque, there are many Muslim pilgrims from different countries, I recommend the premises.
