We saw enough reviews and came to this institution. Pleasant interior, good staff, cozy atmosphere. That's all I can highlight there. The vegetable plate was upset, it looked like they had thrown greens, the radishes were "sad" and stale. The sauce in the shkmeruli was good.
It was very pleasant to look at the wall with notes and money🤤

One of the favorite restaurants in Batumi is for a holiday or just for dinner. I love ojahuri with veal here, I often take fish. My husband praises dolma and soups.
The portions are large, salads are always more likely for two. And it is even better to take different dishes for the company, because it is difficult to master the same ojahuri alone.
It's always delicious!

An extensive, incredibly delicious menu! Very large portions!! Veal kebab is a fairy tale!!! Khachapuri, salads, various national dishes, wine, beer, etc., you can list endlessly! It's better to come and try everything yourself!! Waiters guys - you are mega cool!!!! They are always positive, very attentive, always make sure that the guest has full plates and glasses on the table!!!

There was nothing to complain about, but after lunch in the "Heart of Batumi" (fish with tarragon, Georgian vegetables, eggplant, glass of wine) I started to feel sick, and the nausea did not go away for a long time. This has never happened before.
The interior is cute. The service is courteous. The prices are not the lowest (a light lunch with almost no alcohol cost 70 GEL).

It was a big surprise that the dishes were NOT freshly prepared.
I'm sorry, but in Georgia, even in budget cafes, everything is out of the oven at once, for 1.5 years of life there is something to compare with.
Ojahuri with pork and veal on ketsi was brought barely warm (10-12 minutes), which is already strange-you can't cook it during this time and it certainly wouldn't have cooled down. Even if the dish is cooked (as sometimes happens) before serving, then at least the clay cup is hot and the food is hot. The taste is generally normal, for a confident four, but no more.
And yes, about the warmed-up food and my doubts - they were confirmed by one phrase, which I heard from the waiter to another employee for the whole corridor on the way out: "Vova, WARM UP the ojahuri." Accordingly, in this case, I consider the price unjustified, I did not come to the canteen to eat warmed-up food for three kopecks, but in a cafe with good reviews and absolutely average / above average prices.
Honey cake is delicious, drinks too.

If after visiting this place you had to make a conclusion about Georgian cuisine, what would you say?!
Spoiler Alert: That Georgians do not know how to cook and do not like their guests.
Now the specifics.
Homemade compote is just some kind of diluted syrup with sugar.
A couple of glasses of saperavi - sour for 3-, the smell is also not red.
Ojahuri with pork - the meat is stringy, not juicy, the cat cried a lot of vegetables, except that the potatoes were not spoiled.
Shkmeruli (pictured) - two fried wings and two "slices" of breast not the first freshness filled with powdered (as already noted here) sauce + "rubber" lavash to it for "dipping" into this very sauce. Well, it generally sucks, so don't respect your guests that you can't give them freshly baked penny pita bread?!
And satsebeli and tkemali sauces managed to make some semi-lame ones even compared to the same sauces from the supermarket.
For all 82 laras.
The contrast with the wave of rave reviews is striking, it was necessary to read the negative ones first) , they are all specifically about the same shkmeruli.

Definitely 5+ Were in this cafe several times last year. They came for breakfast and dinner. Everything is very tasty, nice guys work there. In a word, surprise. I don't understand how such establishments can have a rating of 5.0. So, it all starts with a welcoming waiter who will not only smile at you, but on the contrary will show with all his appearance that it would be better if you were not here. Then you sit down at a table in an old shabby room with an old tablecloth and a sofa. The interior did not add appetite at all and did not correct the sediment from the welcoming waiter. There was only hope for food. I ordered chkmeruli, khachapuri in Ajarian style and wine. The chmeruli turned out to be not chicken in cream sauce, but chicken bones in sauce. The photo shows how many bones were in the dish, it is unpleasant to eat. They did not finish eating. Khachapuri was as tasteless as possible, instead of cheese filling, it felt like cottage cheese was applied, so you get warmed cottage cheese with dough and egg, obviously not suluguni. They didn't finish eating either.
What else was interesting: they offered red homemade wine, which in the end was not there, it was replaced with white, while the wine was as mediocre as possible, it was not even called homemade. In addition, there were women with children sitting in front of us, and one of them threw up on the sofa and table. After they left, the waiter wiped the next guests with a rag and put them at the table for a pleasant meal, how nice. It is very difficult to find an institution with a good price-quality ratio in Batumi, this is definitely not it.

We did not think that there are so few good places with really delicious food in Georgia. But it was a real problem the whole vacation. According to the reviews, we found this institution and were very satisfied. The portions are large, served in 5-10 minutes, the staff including Russian-speaking. Whatever you order, everything is delicious. Homemade wine fire.

We found the cafe based on good reviews, before that we visited the Turkish cafe "Liman" on the embankment and liked the "Heart of Batumi" more, then we constantly dined here, even came specially by taxi from the district of Orbie to eat and walk along the streets of the Old City.
The interior is pleasant, there are 2 halls, there were always free places, the staff was friendly, the menu was varied, the food was delicious (the only exception was the barbecue, which I did not really like, it was a little harsh ...). The average check for lunch for 2 adults and a child is about 100lari + tips (total approx.40-45 $), you can eat and cheaper, it all depends on your appetite 😊
I put 5 in the cafe , because I can't put 4.5.
I recommend visiting this place, and then decide for yourself whether it is worthy of your attention or not...

A super overpriced place. I don't know who writes rave reviews at all. There is a queue at the entrance. We waited for about 30 minutes, we were put in a squalid corner without windows. Tired waiters.
The dishes are about nothing at all. The only thing is, it's a delicious tarragon.
We took a lamb kebab. There is minimal meat in it. Carrots, even it seems to me that bread is added, as I cook for children, so that meat seems to be in it, and not.
Eggplant rolls with nuts are also kind of bland.
Shkmeruli is also about nothing at all. Boiled breast, filled with white creamy sauce, no taste or color, bland dish, barely warm. The tortilla is cold, it is not clear what freshness it is.
Other days we went to a less advertised place, everything tasted a lot better.

We visited this cozy cafe on the evening of November 1.
Imeretian khachapuri, veal Chashushuli, Georgian salad at a height. Lyulya-kebab in Georgian is also good, but a little too much with salt, and the adjika to it is wonderful. Homemade compote is decent. The most unexpected thing is a glass of Saperavi! I asked which manufacturer, it turned out to be from a private farm, in my humble opinion magnificent!
